Puppies on Patios || Zander && Riyane
Driving with only one useable hand turn out to be harder than Riyane had anticipated. Not only could she not hold onto the steering wheel without holding wincing, but turning the wheel was next to impossible. Taking as long as she needed -- with Sarge whining in anticipation in the back seat -- it felt as though it was a miracle that they made it to Zander’s place in the first place. The home wasn’t huge, but just big enough for Zander and his new puppy, Cassie. If a person could have been a literal home, this home would have been Zander -- no questions asked.
Pulling her car into the driveway, the dark haired woman put the vehicle into park and stared up at the front door. Sarge was practically bouncing around in the back seat. Shaking her head, she laughed and pushed herself out of the front seat. “Alright, bubba. We’re going. We’re going!” Riyane chuckled before opening the back driver’s side door. Waiting until he sat down before grabbing the leash, the two of them made their way to Zander’s home’s entrance.
Her purse full of treats over her arm and Sarge in her hand, Riyane stopped at the front door. Before knocking on the door, she took a deep breath. Zander wanted to know what had happened about her arm. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to tell him the full story though. As of right now, Riyane was undecided about whether or not to tell him about her messy past or if she just left the unfortunate accident as just that -- an accident.
