This weeks #howtotuesday is How To Tie Your Pointe Shoes! It can be kinda tricky to remember at first so I'm hoping this tutorial will help some young ballerinas :) Step 1: Put on your pointe shoe 😜 Step 2: Take the ribbon on the inside of your foot and cross it over your arch to the opposite side of your ankle Step 3: Take the same ribbon and wrap it around your ankle 1.5 times, or until it reaches the the ankle bone on the inside of your foot Step 3: With the hand not in use, grab the ribbon on the outside of your foot and cross it over your arch to the opposite side of your ankle Step 4: Wrap this same ribbon around your ankle one time, or until it reaches your inside ankle bone Step 5: Tie the two ribbons together and tuck any excess ribbon into the portion of the ribbons wrapped around your ankle Step 6: Repeat for the other foot There are other ways to tie your pointe shoes that accomplish the same thing, but this is how I do it!
