What do you think when Subaru identity is finally revealed to Haibara will she forgive him?, because of him her sister got killed. I can’t wait for the confrontation though. I felt bad for Akemi she loved someone so much she knew who he was and that he was using her she stayed with him. her death is still painful. Akemi played a huge role in shaping both Akai and haibara characters throughout the series .I hope Gosho will give us more flashbacks: memories of her and shiho and akai’s relationship
The fact that he used her to get close to Shiho in the beginning is unspeakable and honestly so horrible. He played with Akemi’s heart, however he did fall in love with her later which is why she decided to stay with him. She even tried to leave the organization to start seriously dating him.
I don’t think that Haibara will forgive him tbh. And he kind of deserves it, because he knew that the organization is dangerous and do not hesitate to kill anyone that gets in their way or risk to expose them. He knew that when he starts dating Akemi (to get closer to the organization and Shiho) he’s putting her in danger and he still did it anyway.
Don’t forget that Haibara hated Shinichi in the beginning and lost her shit because he didn’t save her sister, so imagine Akai. She will go ballistic and she had every right to! Akemi was Shiho’s sunshine and her only reminder to a normal simple happy life away from all the organization drama, and the reason she was killed was because of her relationship with this guy who only dated her in the beginning to arrest her sister.
