squall to settle ;
"they say there's going to be a big storm tonight," kyungsoo murmurs to himself, bone-tired fingers shielding his eyes away from the absent glare of sunlight. "but it looks like it's already coming." mercifully, he had just rounded off today's duties -- and was already due to a cosy night in with the company of a snug duvet and his go-to series of rom-com reruns. alone maybe; but not lonely, no... no.

"wow," he sighs, dipping his head to peek out through the window. "i hope everyone is nice and safe inside." but squinting through the downpour from leaden sky, kyungsoo finds that apparently not everyone had caught wind ( no pun intended ) of the tempest. no second is spared as he eagerly springs to his feet, quickly swiping an umbrella into his hands before scuttling through his front door.
gauging by the relentless battle against the fierce gale, he's not entirely sure if there was much point to picking up the umbrella in the first place. "excuse me!" he yells as loud as his lungs can muster, to the running figure a few metres away. when he catches up, he sees that the stranded form is a boy. lean by physique, pretty by face; familiar in all. "l-lu... han?" despite the torrential rain, a wide grin inescapably pulls at the tails of kyungsoo's lips. "you gave me the bunch of alstroemerias," he says, fondness crinkling the crescents he has for eyes. "oh! um, come inside! i don't want you getting a cold." without waiting for an answer ( and the shelter of the umbrella ), he wraps his fingers around the other boy's wrist, tugging him back home.
