@boom-orange-juice tumblr ate your ask because it’s mephobic :( but i couldn’t decide on just one so i’m giving you my top four shjdksjsjs
4. the scene in e8 where allison’s in the car and all the times she’s abused her power are whispering around her and finally everything goes silent for “i heard a rumor that you love me,,” that’s the good shit,, i think it was such a cool way of fleshing allison out in such a short time.
3. the scene where klaus is in heaven and he’s talking to r*ginald and there’s all those GORGEOUS closeups of robert sheehan’s GORGEOUS face and all of that GORGEOUS dialogue between klaus and his father and just !!! i’m fucking emo over it
2. the scene in e4 where it cuts to klaus in the motel room listening to all of the gruesome stories from how the ghosts died?? art. absolute art. he looks so fucking terrified but also he knows he has to listen for his freedom’s sake but he’s SO close to losing it,, any time they torture klaus it’s like. hm. i hate that. but also. I Don’t. it also implies that klaus understands mandarin and farsi,, which i’m HERE for,, and it makes sense!! if all of the kids’ studies were tailored to their powers it makes sense that r*ginald would want klaus to learn as many languages as he could, just so he could understand what the ghosts screaming in his ears were saying. (plot twist. knowing what they were screaming definitely made it worse.) but klaus definitely had to learn latin to then understand the romance languages and then learn popular dialects from each continent. my boy klaus doesn’t know his multiplication tables, but he can curse you out in vietnamese! (EDIT: WHAT THE FUCK HE PROBABLY USED HIS KNOWLEDGE OF VIETNAMESE TO HIS ADVANTAGE WHEN HE WAS WITH DAVE IN THE WAR??? WHATTHEFUCK)
1. the scene when klaus is looking for luther and ben is with him (i can recite it from memory, that’s how much i love it). it exposes a lot of ben and klaus’s dynamic and gives ben’s character some motivation: to give his brother all the chances to bring his family together that he would have had if he didn’t die. ben doesn’t want to watch the family fall apart—he just got all of them together and there’s no way he’s going to lose that. one of the super interesting things about this scene is that ben shows little regard for klaus, who’s obviously going through hell right next to him. there are two possible reasons for this: 1) ben is so focused on his rapidly-declining family that he doesn’t have time to focus on anything else, and 2) he and klaus have been through this before. they’ve done this whole thing. ben can’t even count on his fingers how many times he’s walked beside a feverish, shivering klaus through some back alley because it’s happened so often. ben is just desensitized.
anyway. that was longer than it needed to be but i’m right and i should say it shjdksjsjs. thanks for the ask !!
