Alte Liebe, sagt man, rostet nicht - vielleicht sagt man es auch nicht, aber das ging mir halt bei Ansicht dieses Bildes durch den Kopf -, jedenfalls konnte ich, als ich diese Szene sah, nicht widerstehen zu versuchen ein Photo zu machen, natürlich wieder so, wie es meine Art ist, mal so dahingeknipst, aber warum auch nicht, immerhin war es mein Eindruck, mein Apparat, mein Moment innerhalb meiner Zeit, ich nahm also auf, hatte tatsächlich DIESE Alte Liebe vorher noch nicht so wahrgenommen und dachte also, hey, dachte ich, cool, mal sehen was du daraus machst, machte erst einmal nichts daraus, bis jetzt, jetzt machte ich etwas daraus, nämlich das hier, einfach so, ziellos, planlos...

Old love, they say, never rusts – maybe they don't say it, but that's what went through my head when I saw this picture – anyway, when I saw this scene, I couldn't resist trying to take a photo, of course, in my usual way, just snapping away, but why not? After all, it was my impression, my camera, my moment within my own time. So I took the picture, I hadn't actually noticed THIS old love like this before, and I thought, hey, I thought, cool, let's see what you can do with this. I didn't do anything with it at first, until now. Now I'm doing something with it, namely this, just like that, aimlessly, without a plan... ("Alte Liebe", the name of the restaurant, means "old love" in English)
