Another day in the library - trying to get through political stuff so I can get back to real literature.
Yestarday I meant to post something but that day turnt out to be suprisingly busy. One of my classes was cancelled so I went to library at early morning to read some more renaissance (I hate this word in English - could it get any more complicated? Look at polish version: renesans. See? No need to put some many letters in that) and then story for ancient tradition (translating names of classes - another pain in my ass) - it was “Siren” by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa by the way, and I strongly recommend reading that one, it’s beautiful.
BUT THEN my class get uncancelled, because universe hates me so I had to go back home for my textbook AND I couldn’t go to the protest (very important one, but I’ll get back to that later) AND my latin teacher decided it’s gonna be great idea to speak in latin to us for whole lecture and we don’t know shit about latin (but okay, it turned out to be really awesome class, our participation was great and all that shit. Onthe other hand, she throw one of student’s phone in trash, it was super weird and probably illegal, but well).
Later I met with my friends and get stoned so... It wasn’t v e r y productive day, but it wasn’t that bad, I get s o m e thing done and also had fun.
Today I met with boys again, we went for lunch (I love vietnamese cuisine but most of all I love theirs sweet coffee - I almost had heart attack drinking it. It was awesome) and then went for walk in the Pola Mokotowskie (it’s like a big park, but it is also so much more, so I’m just gonna go with polish name) and its was almost like in the beautiful times when we were dropping out of classed toghether when we was in high school and wasn’t give a fuck about any-fucking-thing. I miss it.
But, back to that protest I mentioned

There is a shitty, shitty shit going on right now in Poland. We are already very conservative country, with very strict abortion law - there are only 3 cases when you can have abortion: if you were raped, if your’s child is terminaly ill or if it’s gonna put your life in risk. And know, our government is trying to take that from us.
Here you can read about first protest, that took place at the beginning of last year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Women%27s_March
But that didn’t ended. We still have to fight about having control about our own bodies and scream at goverment so they won’t take from us what little we have. Later, i will link some more articles where you can read about what we are trying to do about this. So educate yourself, show solidarity. Social media is great power.

Okay, know you can go back to ignoring my shitty diary.
I’m going back to my renaissance literature, because I just spend half an hour writing this post and I’m gonna be fucked if I won’t read at least two books today.
(Also, feel free to correct all my mistakes, I was shitty studendt in high schooland therefore I know nothing about english grammar besides like 3 times).

april study challenge / 5/04/17 - What’s your preferred method for planning?
discovering bullet journal was actually the most useful thing for me in terms of planning. i used to have a small notebook where i would just write like days of week, what i need to do and texts i need to read for uni on the next page and i was very good at doing it but since i started doing a proper bujo i kind of lost the will to do all the nice boxes, colours and fonts... but i try to keep it going.
when it comes to planning for like essays/papers etc, i usually just sit down with a piece of paper and write all down there and when i have a clearer idea of what i wanna do i’ll transfer it to my bujo.
BTW did you know my library has cool rooftop garden?!
Literally one of the best exhibitions I've ever seen... (at Warsaw University Library)
