NFL rant. - Week 2
What the hell is going on this season? First of all, replacement refs please, PLEASE, get out. Are you really going to let a coach guilt you into throwing a flag? REALLY? And I mean, home field advantage is supposed to be in reference to the fans sweetheart, not your total biased decisions. BUT HEY. That is probably the least of the problems. Not really.
Another tip, to the beloved quarterbacks; you're supposed to throw the ball to YOUR receivers. Cough. Jay Cutler, Michael Vick, Drew Brees, Eli Manning (not so beloved), and of course, Peyton Manning. OH GOD MANNING. What were you doing!? Seriously. Three possessions, three picks? Lmao, c'mon 'veteran quarterback'. Then on the next possession Moreno has a fumble. At the same time though, that could be an argument for Atlanta's beautiful confusion on the defense. They literally looked like liddo falcons with their movements behind the line of scrimmage.
Finally, there is the lack of proper coverage on the pocket by just too many teams. One big example was the one man coverage on Peppers. Let's use some kind of logic here, Green Bay. When you have someone who is nicknamed the Freak of Nature, maybe he deserves some two man coverage. No? Oh ok. You're right, what do I know. What a sloppy game. I expected more from both teams.
To wrap all of this up; Michael Turner, a DUI? Really? Celebrate safely players. Or else you will have a very angered and fucked team. Luckily they have an away game at San Diego next week, because I'm not too sure the Atlanta fans would be pleased either. Here's too a hopefully improved week 3!
