Chloe knew she was in deep when Beca looked over at her with her first genuine smile of the day. She had deduced within minutes of meeting Beca that she really didn’t want to try this trial weekend at Barden but that just made Chloe want to show her a good time. She’d dragged Beca to her friday classes, taking pity of her and settling at the back of the lecture hall so she could text or surf the web if she pleased without drawing the attention of her professors. Chloe had talked animatedly to Beca about the school, her classes and questioned Beca about her life.
“So, I thought we could go to a little get together tonight! My friend Stacie is having a few friends over for a little wine and cheese. She has an off campus place with one of her classmates. You don’t seem like the frat party girl, so I figured low key would be cool. Maybe if you behave she’ll let you be in charge of the music,” she offered up, having learned a bit of Beca through her questioning. “I’m gonna get changed okay?” She said and turned her back to Beca as she browsed through her closet and picked out her favorite skirt and a low cut shirt before trying to block herself a bit from Beca behind her dresser. Pleased with her appearance she turned to Beca. “Do I look okay?” she asked before freshening up her lip gloss and applying a fresh layer of mascara. “So you’re on a strict two drink max tonight, one if you smoke or something. I can’t get a high schooler totally wasted.” // sackupdude
