Funassyi to Headline Live Concert/Event at Budokan on August 23rd
Most people thought it was just another April Fool’s Day joke when it was first announced earlier today.... but yes, Funassyi did hold a live web conference on LINE LIVE, and - yes, he’s actually going to headline his very own 90 minute show at the hallowed 14,000+ capacity Budokan (Wikipedia entry on Nippon Budokan). Budokan has hosted many notable concerts, sporting events and other performances, and now - The Pear.
Funassyi will also have a show on August 29th at Osaka-Jo (Osaka Castle) Hall. More details as they are announced.

Incidentally, Funassyi did confirm that he will be performing without pants (as usual), but told everyone who plans to come to the shows to keep theirs on. ^_^

Funassyi attended the wedding of “Sacocci” yesterday, Saturday July 18th. Sacocci (real name undisclosed) is his manager at Universal Music (probably the closest thing to any kind of manager Funassyi has), as well as his co-host/sidekick/whatever on the Funanomics 2: Nassyi Vacation in Okinawa DVD. It looks like Funassyi also spoke at the reception. It must have been pretty exciting for the guests.
