           it's unexpected.     unprompted,     but nice.     ever since he'd been summoned to the kingdom of askr,     no familiar allies were present    ——   chrom   ?     nowhere.     bubbles   ?     either using tactics to hide herself,     or she was genuinely not here.     from the looks of it,     likely the latter   !    ——    in spite of sudden alienation from the familiar,     crowned prince of renais     (   that was the name of the kingdom ...     right   ?     )     did not retract the hand of camaraderie  ;    rather,     it had been extended to the point that gaius found it impolite to not grasp it.     unorthodox in his style as a prince,     more willing to fight than sit by    &    watch.     were nobles just different from what he envisioned   ?     regardless,     countless battles had been fought together    ——    swift daggers that impaired enemy,     only to be finished by the might of a lance  ;    it was perfect teamwork.     perfect synchronization that brought them that much closer,     compatibility in battle    &    outside undeniable.
