Cant believe how many nice comments people are leaving in the tags on my last few fanarts, just wanna respond to a few.

This seems like such a nice and friendly fandom - i know im new and basically on a manic drawing spree at the moment which may or may not cool down slightly when ive gotten all of this initial creative energy out of my system but looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of you <3

Omg THANK YOU this has made me so happy. Happy you appreciate the hands especially - fun fact I was once put on an animation project at work where i drew nothing but hands for over three months straight. Ive drawn so darn many hands - I was basically in hand prison. But it makes me so happy when people comment on hands I’ve drawn because it means it all paid off haha!

I know i cant believe they literally just LOST the kitten, I so thought she would show up again. I hope shes okay!! Wonder if shed go to the ocean seeing as shes a shark on the inside.

I *think* ive figured out that the reason I find Todd hard is because i know Elijah Wood so much better as an actor and ive seen him in a million things and so i get alot more hung up on “does this look like Elijah Wood” rather than “does this capture the essence of Todd” - but because ive only ever seen Sam as Dirk its much easier to focus on capturing the character rather than the likeness of the actor.

WELL you might be waiting a while but I am excited about it too. I hope I manage to get somewhere with it before giving up because its quite... ambitious as far as fanart goes (by my standard at least).

opinions on Ken’s character arc??? I feel like he had no reason to join Blackwing but that’s just me, like... why? Ken of all people should know their cruelty but he just... joins on, even though it was a ruse at first, he became genuinely interested by the end and we aren’t really given a reason

ok im a lil hazy (i gotta rewatch the show) but i dont think ken was like a good person to start with (but he wasnt a bad person either- this show did a good job making the good guys have less than good traits- todd is a p good example of this)

i think ken is an ambitious person and is very good at being thrown in bad situations and finding away to use it to his advantage- like he survived hanging out with bart (true the universe didnt tell her to kill him but still) and with blackwing he took advantage of friedkin being a dumbass so he was able to be less prisoner and more position of power (to the point that priest likes him which is damn)

dont get we wrong it still does feel kinda like a heel turn even watching the show that knowledge (i think its cause hes personality changes so much in such little time its kinda off putting) kens arc def wasnt handled as well as it couldve tho
