“Because right now, I’m the only one you’ve got.” An suspicious glance is cast towards the man, he doesn’t trust him either. Especially when the guy is supposed to be dead yet he’s right here, alive, and there is something very off about him.

“So, you can either trust me, or I can leave you to deal with all of this alone. Your choice.”

He still has nightmares, despite his best intentions to the contrary. Sometimes the nightmares make him panic, and when it gets too bad-- as it does now, his throat seemingly closing in on him and his eyes wide as they look at the ceiling-- he calls Piers just to hear him again.

The reassurance helps, to Piers’ credit. Hearing his voice say that he’s alive, even through the ambient noise of a mobile phone, is the first step towards draining all the tension in Chris’ body.

So he takes in a breath, then exhales it slowly.

Hanekoma had felt the moment the stranger had entered his world and went to investigate. What he found was a... heavily-armed and desperate looking individual. He knew it would be bad if the guy actually stepped out onto the street where everyone was wandering around. It was a good thing he’d found himself in the back alleys were there wasn’t much of any people hanging around. Whoever he was, he didn’t belong here, and likely he hadn’t gotten here on his own. Something had put him here.

So Hanekoma went down into the alley behind him, from the rooftop from which he was observing this individual, and shifted back into the RG. There was a flash of light right behind Piers followed by a voice.

“Hey, brother. Weapons like that are illegal here. Didn’t ya know?” No. Clearly not. But it had to be the first thing Hanekoma addressed anyway. “Why don’t ya put that down and talk to me? Ya look lost.”

Haruhi had been hiding, huddled tightly under a desk in one of the classrooms at Ouran Academy as the hordes of zombies shambled outside the room, narrowly missing her as they lurched by. When she heard the sound of rapid footsteps walking towards her, she nearly screamed, only to be met with someone who looked very much human, thankfully.

"Who... Who are you?" Haruhi asked. still a bit wary.
