Young Sam doing Bobby-type research while he's like ? 13? And he's clearly COMPLETELY alone. He's being hassled on the phone to do it more and better, and guilted by his dad that people are dying. He's a little kid. He's just a kid and this is made his responsibility and he is c o m p l e t e l y alone. He even references "Uncle Bobby" in this episode sending him a book, it is clearly a choice to leave him behind. It's Killing John Winchester hours.

Sad Fact

Peter was the only member of the original team who didn't have a happy ending at the end of vol3.

Just think about this:

-Nebula and could take another opportunity by taking care of the rescued kids.

-Rocket, Groot and Kraglin made the new team.

-Mantis could go on their own.

-And Gamora stayed with the ravagers.

But Peter... he had to come back to earth realizing he and Gamora will never be happy again. He was forced to left alone.

Am i the only one who find that awfully sad?

Death of a hero.

And for a moment, everything stops, and you're left defenseless. Defenseless in the cold. It's cold isn't it? That icicle in your chest. How did it get there? What happened to put it there? What did you do to deserve it's placement there? You fall to your knees, and you vaguely wonder what will happen to them? Your children. You don't wonder for long. They'll be fine in their own. You taught them well. They don't think it, but for year's they've been stronger then you. For year's they could've beaten you. But you always outsmarted them. Because you knew them. Knew their every dodge and attack, knew their every leap and swipe, knew it because it is you. You taught them didn't you? They love you, but they don't need you.

But him.

His eyes, his hair, his smile.

Him.

He who was once so cold. He who came to you with school projects, he who followed you everywhere, he who despite hiding in your shadow, had a smile brighter then the Sun. He who always liked hiding in the shadows. He who came with you.

He loves. He loves and he loves and he loves. And out of fear, you never reciprocated. He thought he was subtle. He thought you missed that soft smile whenever you turned away. You didn't.

But you were scared to ruin the friendship you had with him.

So you stayed quiet.

But now what? Now your dying. What will happen to him? It's always been Shockwave and Boss. If there's no Shockwave, what will happen to him?

Maybe nothing. Boss has always been composed. Always been a good man. Of course he'll be fine. He's Boss.

You cough, and feel blood drip from your chin. Ah. That's it. You lift a tentative hand to your chin. It comes away red. You hear a scream from your own sidekick. One of your kids. You blink, and blood and saliva falls down your chin. He can't find you like this. He can't feel you die. You refuse to let it happen. So your arms become weak, your breathing becomes ragged, and you collapse.

They love you. You love them. But they don't need you.

Oh how wrong you are.
