Dnd talk
If you as a player dont like certain aspects of the game as is, or certain things that your dm does (such as longer descriptions or exposition), communicate with you dm. We just had two players quit our table and get dodgy about with with the dm and didnt say anything about it directly to their face.
The dm didn't know it was their style until a week later through one of their mutual friends who let then know how much those players didnt enjoy the session even though said players told the dm they had a great time. Now I'm trying to cheer the dm up because they feel like it was their fault those players left when this could have been avoided with some clear communication.
