Bruce was riding his bike home from his baseball match, which his lost 7:14. Bruce knew he had been distracted from his game recently, since his boyfriend went missing around a week ago. Vance was supposed to meet Bruce in the park after school, but never showed up for their date.

As the Grab 'n' Go came into view, Bruce slowed down to a halt and left his bike outside the store.

The raven-haired boy walked inside, trying to ignore the pinball machine that his boyfriend was glued to 24/7. Bruce takes a quick look at the high score, smiling softly as he sees that Vance's high score is still the top.

He walks to the cold drinks isle, picking out a diet coke and paying for it at the counter. Bruce unscrews the lid, taking a sip. The fizzy metallic taste fills his mouth, and Bruce gulps the soda down eagerly. He was parched, since he forgot to bring water to his baseball game. Vance always used to bring Bruce a cup of water, since he knew Bruce always forgot to.

Bruce finished off the can, dumping it in the trash can outside the store entrance. Plastered on the windows of the Grab 'n' Go, was a bunch of 'missing' posters of kids who had gone missing recently. The first poster Bruce saw was Griffin Stagg's, a kid in the 6th grade who went missing over six months ago. The second poster Bruce saw was Billy Showalter's, who was in the 9th grade. Billy delivered papers to the Yamada household daily, until his disappearance four months ago. The last poster, the newest one on the window, was Vance Hopper's. Bruce stared at the picture of Vance on the poster, and read the information below. Vance Hopper, 173 cm, age 15, last seen 16th July.

Bruce felt his heart tearing in two. He had tried to ignore the fact that Vance was missing, but this poster just proved the fact that Vance was missing. Like the other two boys, he might never come back. Bruce might never see Vance in his math class again. He might never see Vance playing pinball inside the very same store that his missing poster was hung up on. He might never meet Vance in the park after school again. He might never see Vance again.

Bruce breathed in sharply, jumping on his bike and cycling away as fast as he could, blinking away the tears in his dark brown eyes. He sped through the neighborhood, enjoying the wind rushing through his hair. After half an hour spent riding around his whole neighbourhood, Bruce eventually slowed down and parked his bike in his garage.

Bruce unlocked the front door, slamming it behind him and locking the door. He walked up to his room, gently shutting his bedroom door and sinking down onto the floor, allowing a few tears to escape.

Bruce wiped his eyes, trying to control his shaky breaths. I will see Vance again, right? Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe Vance just left Denver for a while? Vance was okay. Vance was going to be okay. Bruce reassures himself, his breathing slowing down to a normal rate.

Vance was going to be okay, right?

Chloe Bourgeois - Say Something

Chloe went on the stage. Adrien already waited for her there, his hands patiently put on the keys of the school piano. It was a miracle, that he agreed to help her.

She heard other students talk as she was adjusting the microphone.

"What is she going to sing? Something about how she's better then everyone? Yeah, I'm sleeping through this one"

Those words, though untrue and painful, didn't even make her flinch. She looked at the first row and that's when she lost her cool for a moment. Her mother wasn't there. Of course. Could she expect anything else?

She looked back at Adrien and he smiled. Her best friend.

"Uhm... hello, my name is Chloe Bourgeois and... this song is dedicated to my mom. But... she isn't here, so... I guess, it's for nobody?"

She let out a small chuckle. Nobody else laughed.

"Adrien, lets go"

The sounds of a famous tune filled the auditorium.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you I'll be the one, if you want me to"

Oh, how she tried, again and again, to be the daughter her mother will be proud of. So much so it became her whole personality.

"Anywhere, I would've followed you Say something, I'm giving up on you"

And now? After all these years? She is just... a nobody. Audrey didn't even bother to show up.

"And I am feeling so small It was over my head I know nothing at all And I will stumble and fall I'm still learning to love Just starting to crawl"

So Chloe will do the only thing appropriate. She will ruin herself, destroy, piece by piece, just so that she can rebuild herself into someone she herself can be proud of. Someone more like Adrien, or Sabrina or even... Zoe.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you Anywhere, I would've followed you Say something, I'm giving up on you"

She will learn all the things she ever learnt again. She doesn't need her mother's approval anymore... does she?

"And I will swallow my pride You're the one that I love And I'm saying goodbye"

No she doesn't. And her voice is getting shaky only because she sees all these people she hurt and she feels guilty. It's time to start anew.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you And anywhere, I would have followed you Ooh, ooh say something, I'm giving up on you Say something, I'm giving up on you Say something"

On the last line her voice shakes too much for anyone to understand the lyrics. She falls to her knees, and cries, still holding the microphone.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry"

She expects booing or ignoring, but all of a sudden, she hears clapping. Marinette Dupain-Cheng of all people stood up from her seat and is clapping to her. One by one, her classmates, and then everyone stands up and she hears something she longed to hear her whole life.

A true ovation. To her, being herself.

Maybe it will be a painful, prickly path. But maybe it will be worth it.

Chloe Bourgeois is willing to try.

Quick thinking, but the night that the Sun Court fell, they had Brand before they had Rune. Maybe for five minutes, maybe for an hour, we don't know. We just know that he was already there when Rune was brought in. He was unconscious (we think at least), probably knocked out. For him to be unconscious until he managed to get himself and Rune out of there, which we know from the books that was a couple hours after Rune was caught, he would have to have a brain damage (given that even if you pass out briefly and get a concussion, only 75 to 90% of people recover after a few months). He would be confused, not knowing what was happening. So, maybe he wasn't passed out the entire time, but refrained to do anything.maybe with a binding spell (im assuming they exist). He only was able to get free when everyone in the room was done with biding spells. I'm saying this because we see that Rune, a magically powerful person only had one hour-ish with a mass sigil. He was awake, with is eyes closed, forcefully earing and feeling through the bond every emotion that Rune was feeling. We know that in danger, Brand throws himself in front of Rune (that was after all, the way that he would have died when Rune went after Rurik alone to Lord Time castle/mansion). So he had a couple hours to think of out routes, and at first chance, he and Rune were out of there. Feeling Rune the way he was feeling that night eats Brand inside every day, feeling that he couldn't save Rune from what happened to him motivates him to keep him save and to always be on watch.

P.S.: We know from the raid to the Lovers Court that or it was ordered, or it was independent. Asthon was involved, so im guessing is court was involved in making the Sun Court fall. :)
