[Fan Account] Infinite 15th Anniversary concert - Limited Edition in Yokohama (both days) 15/16 Feb 2025
My seats:
Day 1 -2F, row 7 (ordinary seat) and Day 2- Arena row 29 (VIP upgrade). Both bought via X pre-sale lottery.
If you've already seen the videos from the event I posted on my twitter account then you'll know I had an up-close encounter of the Jjong kind on Day 2, which was so unexpected and delightful!
I'll describe it first as I think that's what most Jjong fans want to know about, then my Jjong-focused observations on the rest of the show will follow.
JJONG SAYING 'THANK YOU' TO ME (Day 2)
I was standing by the extended stage and spotted Seongjong coming down the crowd to my right, so I just started recording on my phone. Many people were holding out their phone for him to take a photo of them together with him, but I expected he might just pass by me, so I just kept on recording. When he got to me though he actually stopped, and met my eyes, and I wonder if he was expecting me to speak but I just went completely mind blank in that second because of the proximity and full on eye contact at both me and my phone AHAAHAH. It's like looking directly at the sun. So he touched my hand that was holding the phone up very gently, and said 'Thank You' in English, before moving on to meet other fans. Although I've met him many times at this point, of course, I was too stunned for a moment by that meeting to actually verbally react. Last time i met him for his solo show in Osaka I had said 'thank you' in English as I left him, and so it felt like a continuation of that event. I was honestly so touched that he took that time out and chose to speak English to me too. It was BEYOND amazing. Sooo after that my spirit had kinda left my body, as you may imagine, thus the remainder of my Day 2 observations are somewhat hazy!! However, I'll do my best with my more cohesive notes from Day 1 and add anything else I recall.
OVERALL SHOW THOUGHTS (Day 1 and 2)
It was fantastic to see the guys back in Japan although this venue is massive compared to the last one, which was neighbouring venue Pacifico Yokohama. That show had lottery assigned seating, but this show had the VIP option, which basically doubled the ticket price. Was it worth it? YES OH YES. Closer view of everything on the extended stage and the chance of fanservice. I used binoculars on Day 1 a lot, but Day 2 barely needed them.
The format followed the Limited Edition show in Seoul with only a few differences. The first few songs were sung entirely in Japanese, and performed on the extended stage. All the MCs were in Japanese, with only a little Korean needing live translation. Day 2 we were treated to a second informal Encore because we just kept chanting To-Ra-Wa. Seeing everyone do a little solo turn again then was fantastic and I loved to see how they just cheered each other on.
It was really exciting to hear some of the new songs from the upcoming album. Although Jjong’s parts in Sad Loop aren’t massive, it utilizes his higher range. We approve! And the Dangerous choreo looks very very cool. He had a big grin on his face while doing that for us both days.
While Day 1 was a thrilling performance overall, I think Day 2 was more the 'classic Infinite' I love to see, because they seemed more relaxed and playful, and confident within themselves. They played around more in the choreo, laughed at each other, and ad libbed more when they spoke.
One of the best funny Infinite moments was during a mic change, Yeolie recreated his 'killing part' bum wiggle from New Emotions, and then all members took turns to do their own little dance to the same part. I wish I had recorded it (maybe someone did?) because Jjong touched his own bum and wiggled it very provocatively at us! So cheeky!
JJONG MOMENTS OF NOTE
Jjong looked very energetic for both shows, but especially on Day 2 when he was more relaxed and playful. He looked very confident and cool during the opening of Inception, which Dongwoo described as Seongjong Time. lol. His solo performance of Monster Time in particular was AMAZING to see live. He really worked the whole stage during it, jumping up and down excitedly at both extended stage wings, lying down on his back, and then recreating the fall backwards to leave the stage as he did in Seoul. I really love seeing this new, different side of him, and he just seemed like he was having a ball on the stage.
On Day 2, during the MC part after the solo stages, the members had him recreate the Monster Time backwards fall briefly. Woohyun was teasing us all that we didn't actually know the words to the song, and put one J-inspirit to the test by telling her to sing it solo. She got too shy and Jjong just told her she did well.
On Day 1, I wondered if he was a little more tired/achy as I noticed that later in the show he was not hitting the moves as hard/sharp as he usually does, for example during key parts of Be Mine. During one or two MCs and the ballads when the focus was off him, I saw him holding his lower back/upper thigh, and during another he was rotating his right shoulder a few times. He did some similar things on Day 2, but he seemed to have a lot more energy overall, hitting all the moves exactly as I expected he would, and just smiled a lot more with it.
FANSERVICE
I have never seen him go into the crowd to meet fans as much as he did during this concert, and I observed he really went deep on Day 1, through the crowd right to the back of the arena floor, posing for pictures and signing things throughout the two or three songs all members were roaming around. On Day 1, at one point I completely lost sight of him as he was so deep in the arena crowd, and then I suddenly spotted him picking up confetti, throwing it over himself and twirling! haha. So he was having a good time. From my 2F seat, I saw him wipe his sweat off a few times and throw his sweaty towels in the audience... haha. On Day 2, it was pretty impossible for me to see him once he'd left the extended stage area, but I'm sure he was doing the same kinds of things and claiming inspirit's spirits left and right.
JAPANESE JJONG
His ending MC in Japanese on both days was probably the most confidently I’ve ever hear him speak in Japanese. As a non-native speaker too, I was impressed how well he did. He sounded less awkward than some other members, and seemed proud of his own efforts. He did tell us he's been trying hard to improve. It was very cute how he ended it, which i would translate as ‘see me in your dreams.’ (There's a video I recorded of the screen on my twitter account)
WARDROBE NOTES
So I love how during ‘pray’ the beautiful silver robes they all wear just swirl around them gracefully. It was a beautiful song to see performed live. When they performed the chaser, I saw Jjong fling his robe backwards or away from his legs deliberately a few times so it wouldn't get tangled, for example as all members kneel down during Sungkyu's part.
During the encore on Day 1 he was wearing some very loose white/cream baggy trousers that seemed too long for him in my eyes, he did tug on them a little and seemed to say something to Woohyun about them at one point.
Day 2 outfits seemed to fit him a lot better, and he wore long shorts for the encore, so the infamous legs were out! It also brought us the rare sighting of Jjongnips as he wore a very sheer white shirt for the first few songs. We also got to see some bare shoulder as during Be Mine all members started showing off a little muscle or shoulder during their part, and I loved how confidently he joined in that.

Yeoljong - During the early concert choreo on both days, I saw Yeolie and Jjong grin at each other a few times, just when their dance moves lined up to face each other, like in Inception and Destiny.
Myungjong - On day 1, Jjongie patted some sweat off L’s face during one MC. He also patted L’s shoulders after his ending MC, as everyone was making fun of his (actually very good) Japanese. Jjong also hugged Myungsoo briefly while he was running to leave the stage at the very end. On day 2, L grabbed Jjong's hand during the choreo part of Air, and waved it like a puppet saying hello. That made Jjong really crack up!!
Woojong - On Day 1 Namu and Jjong had a laugh about something during the final MC, and Namu put his arm around Jjong’s shoulders and hugged him like that as they walked down the extended stage and throughout the last song. On Day 2 they skipped together down the extended stage as they sang White Christmas.
Gyujong - On Day 1, I saw Sungkyu slap jjong’s bottom as they all reassembled on the stage after going into the audience. But my fave moment that day was while they were all dressed in denim, Jjong said something to him and then leaned on him, and then they leaned against each other for a minute like they were just propping each other up.
Dongjong - On Day 1, Jjong and Dongwoo were dancing around a little silly together during one of the later MCs, when Dongwoo had a rabbit ear hat on.
