It's served well but the cost of repair is so high. Can we just change out the ferro-lymph, give a fresh coat of paint and get what we can out of it?
It's been a good tool, done its job well. The seizing up in it's frame and whining of its metal grinding against itself, we can ignore that I think. We'll address it when it's really a problem.
The cost-benefit is pretty clear, it's cheaper if we just wait till it really breaks before we bring it for maintenance, might even be cheaper to replace it at this point. These units are coming cheaper and cheaper these days, and besides, we have a couple extra anyways.
If the issue is serious, we can get to it right away, there's some other things on the list right now though so unless it's limiter board is fried it can wait. Without stabilizers, it's not going anywhere anyways.
