That game is also notorious for having atrocious driving controls. I literally quit playing because I couldn’t deal with the driving.

It's hard not to spam your askbox with songs because when you're in love with a thing every song fits that thing. Anywho, I just wanted to recommend "Somebody Good" by the Swell Season because it reminded me of MYIY Lena. It's all about walking away and not coming back until you're ready but still being a little hopeful about getting through the hurt to get back what was lost and returning to when you belonged to somebody good.

I usually re-read a lot of fics just to get myself in that same headspace again, especially if I’ve read other works in the meantime

I’ll go back and read like... the chapter before? Mostly bc I have a terrible memory and I read a lot of fic at one time so I gotta be like “wait which one is this???” unless I know exactly which one it is (like I always remembered what was happening in Whispers and I always remember myiy etc) but I very rarely reread entire fics

You seem to be getting a lot of sad MYIY songs so I figured I'd send along a more upbeat one. It's actually another song called "Only Us" but this time by Paperwhite. It's my favorite song right now so I'd recommend it regardless but it talks about starting over, facing doubts, and the sound of someone's heart getting stuck in your head when you think about the times when it was only you and them. Plus, it's catchy as hell.
