Sadhana Forest : A place that will attract you and make you want to stay and spoil all your previously made travel plans! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A place away from all the hustle and bustle of Auroville (if it has any), tucked away amidst a newly grown forest! The dirt roads are often narrow and dusty. Except for an occassional army of local dogs and mopeds- the "national vehicle" of Pondicherry, these roads remain mostly empty. If you want to visit here at night and your moped breaks down, which happens quite often especially during monsoon time, you would probably get scared all alone there in the pitch dark with occasional group barking of the stray dogs! Well in short this place is quite secluded and gives a perfect opportunity to disconnect! And you will love it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A big bamboo house will welcome you visually and someone from the vegan community of Saadhana will welcome you personally. For the next coming days if you decide to volunteer here, you will turn vegan, help the community with their forestation project, help out with the housekeeping, cooking and whatever it takes to run a biggg home! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is one of the communities within Auroville. They are doing a reforestation project and interested people are able to volunteer here.
