More crackships: This time, Peridot/Sadie (or Peradie)
Peridot walked into the Funland Arcade, humming to herself. She had split from the group about ten minutes before and was looking for something to do without a height requirement. She walked to an arcade cabinet titled “Mega Man” and put in some quarters. A blonde girl stood by the cabinet and looked over.
“Wow, it’s been a long time since someone’s played this old hunk of junk.” She said. Peridot looked over to her, blushing. She was cute!
“W-who are you?” Peridot asked.
“Oh uh… Sadie. You must be one of Steven’s friends.”
“Uh… Y-yeah, I’m Peridot….” Peridot mumbled, starting up the game, going to Gutsman’s stage, trying her hardest. She fell off a ledge and groaned.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. Just got to do your timing. Just fix it, okay?”
Peridot nodded, focusing on the game. She made it to the end of the stage and beat Gutsman, whooping and smiling. Sadie giggled.
“See? There you go. Here, I’ll do the next level.” She said, going to the cabinet. Peridot watched by her side, grinning. She looked at Sadie, blushing again, a weird pain in her chest. She gripped her chest, confused. Sadie looked at her and smiled. “Are you okay?” She giggled a little. Peridot nodded.
“I’m… F-fine, it’s just…. You seem to have a weird effect on me. When I look at you I feel… Flustered. Like I want to see more of you. I-is that…. W-weird?”
Sadie blushed a bit and chuckled a little. “Well, Peridot, that’s a crush, I think… I think it’s kind of cute… Here.” She took out a piece of paper and a pen from her pocket, writing down her number. She gave it to Peridot. “Here. You probably have a texting app on that tablet. Just, text me when you w-want to hang out again, okay?” Sadie smiled at her.
“Alright, Sadie…” Peridot smiled and hugged her tightly. “You’re great. I’ll ‘text’ you later.” She said laughing a bit. Sadie kissed her cheek.
“See you.” Sadie waved bye as she walked off, blushing like crazy.
