His morning is as quiet as always and frankly, he’s starting to get the hang of living by himself despite it only being his third day in the city. While he does miss walking out of his bedroom to hear the pleased yet still-drowsy chatters of either his friends or his siblings, Shouto is surprised to realize that he much prefers to wake up to absolutely nothing. Nobody’s here to ask him if he had a restful sleep or if he has eaten yet. He never appreciated feeling obligated to interact with anyone so early in the morning.
So despite his mind still buzzing with suspicions and concerns over how he got here in the first place, Shouto tries to look at the brighter side of things which is what he knows his friends would have told him to do. Just as he’s about to take a second sip from his cold sweet tea, his ears immediately detect a sound coming from the unoccupied bedroom next to his.
Strange, he thinks as he places his drink down and leans a bit over the kitchen counter to check the bedroom door that seems to be creaking open. From what he has gathered, he doesn’t have a housemate yet. So whoever is in that room is technically trespassing and that thought alone is enough to heighten the young hero’s sense of caution. He could feel the familiar sparks buzzing in the tips of his fingers as he lingers on his spot, prepared to make use of his quirk if needed.
