“I’m not surprised by this at all.” She gave a small hum. “So, how do we keep that from looking terribly like arson? Or does it not matter if it looks like arson or not?”

🎀 Even in his less then well state (and what had been revealed to him), Sephiroth still roused himself enough to carefully place some ribbons on his dear friend. A ribbon on her forehead. This one was placed with an accompanying run of fingers through her hair. He hesitated for a moment before placing one on her chest. And finally, one on either of her arms. He cared for her and loved her as his friend. It would be difficult to change this. -- sadisticsephiroth
Send a 🎀 and a corresponding body part for your muse to place a ribbon on my muse and see what your muse feels about mine!
Gods he looked like hell, and his eyes were still changing. If she could have she would have scolded him for being out of bed. She remained quiet as he adorned her with ribbons. One on her forehead for friendship. One hesitantly placed on her chest. Love in a platonic friendship sense, probably not for the admiration, but maybe that too. Then finally one on each arm for protectiveness.
He still cared about her for now, from the ribbon placement he still cared quite a lot. Xeha was sure that would change the instant she told him that his situation was expressly her fault, and it hurt. He would probably never trust her or forgive her. “Seph--”
((So the internet was doing funky things last night, so we had to move the RP to Skype. Here is the complete RP if anyone is interested. sadisticsephiroth))
The order had been issued, and she had to follow through with it, even if she didn’t want to. She really didn’t want to. Xeha stood in a quiet part of the castle and reached out to the familiar darkness that was present in the sigil left on Sephiroth by Xemnas. That would probably be enough to summon him.
Sephiroth stood from where he had been seated, blinking in confusion. The sigil on his chest had begun to pulsate, responding to the darkness that seemed to beckon him. Silver brows had furrowed in confusion. Why was it acting up now? He focused on it, images from one of the quieter parts of the castle immediately jumping to his mind. Why…?
He shook his head. Maybe he should go and as such, that is what he decided to do. A dark portal was opened, and he went through.
Xeha paced back and forth while she waited. It seemed like a long time before she heard the dark corridor open, but that could have been her own perception of the way time passed. Maybe it was only a minute or two. Either way she paused and watched the taller silver step out of the darkness. “Sephiroth. It is good to see you.” She tried to say in a way that wasn’t so mechanical, but it might have sounded that way anyway. She had to detach.
… “Xeha?” He frowned. Something seemed off. Had something happened? “It is good to see you too, my friend.” Mako eyes remained locked on the smaller silver. Sephiroth rubbed at the sigil through his shirt, the scar still pulsing slightly. It was an odd feeling that Sephiroth hadn’t like one bit.
He could see something was wrong. He was smarter than that, and he knew her well enough to be able to read her. “I– We need to talk. Please sit down.” She said and indicated a nearby pair of chairs. Luna’s fine, it’s not something about him, so don’t worry.” Xeha figured that might be something that would be on his mind.
Sephiroth sighed. At least Luna was alright. He looked between her and the chairs before moving to sit in one. “If it’s not something wrong with him, then did something happen to Terres? Is she fine?” Concern showed on his face, unaware of what Xeha was going to do.
Xeha moved to sit in the other chair just to feign normality. It wasn’t working, but she was trying. “No, Terres is fine as well, thankfully.” Once he was settled in the chair she held out a hand to telekinetically bind him, so he could not move or struggle. “I am so sorry for what I am about to do.”
He had been once again relieved. At least for a moment. Mako eyes had widened at the sudden loss of ability to move. "Xeha?" He had tried to struggle, unable to do a thing. He even summoned his wing hoping it would do something to free him, the appendage flapping pitifully. "What are you doing?"
He was struggling. She didn't like to see him pinned there and failing to free himself. "I have been ordered to give you a heart shard." She got up from her chair and moved over to him. "I physically can't stop myself from following the order." Her voice was a bit tight since the controlling force didn't want her to talk about it.
"...A... A heart shard?" He paused in his struggles for a moment before going full force once again. Even if she couldn't stop the order, part of him would still blame her. Sephiroth had become too trusting of others since his return. As it seemed, he had placed trust in the wrong people. "Luna!" He called out for his lover, hoping he would hear him.
Xeha knew he would blame her, even if she had no control over her actions. If the situations had been reversed she would have blamed him too. Most likely he would never forgive her while he was still himself and not one of them. "He can't hear you here, Sephiroth." She stated quietly. "You and I are the only ones present." With a grimace she took a prepared syringe out of her pocket, removed the cap, and used it on the closest arm. "A sedative to try and make this less horrible." Maybe he would forget what happened if she was lucky.
Sephiroth gasped when the needle entered his arm. The sedative moved quickly through his veins. His struggles became weaker and weaker. His wing folded, as he looked up at her with pleading eyes. He might forget. He might not. Depending on how quickly the sedative was burned off by the mako in his system. "...Why?" was all he asked before hanging his head in defeat.
The syringe was capped and discarded. Xeha watched as the sedative took effect and Sephiroth's struggles slowly stopped. The young woman shook her head. "I don't know. I asked and received no answer other than a repeated order." She gently ran a hand through his hair once before pulling away. She cringed when the shard appeared in her hand.
"Your older self?" Was that who had ordered her? Sephiroth shivered at her touch. It might have comforted him had it been any other time. Sephiroth didn't look up at her, eyes focused on the floor in front of him. It seemed that she had saved him from Xemnas only... Only to use him for her own devices. In a way, hadn't Xemnas helped her? ...Maybe it had all been a way to get him to trust her...
"Yes, my older self." Now she just had one more reason to hate herself. What Xemnas had done to him was deplorable to say the least. She would never have used such means to gain trust. If she could have punished the Nobody more severely then she would have. She placed the hand with the heart shard over his heart and used the darkness to push the shard into place in his chest.
As it was, Sephiroth would see no reason to believe that she hadn't used such means to get his trust. A burning sensation seemed to seep from the sigil as the heart shard entered his body. The sedative did little to relieve that pain. He grit his teeth, body shaking as his own heart tried to combat the shard being placed in him. He had lost himself once already to Jenova, and as it seemed he would lose himself once again.
A sedative was all Xeha had been able to grab before the order completely took hold. If she could have she would have brought him something for the pain as well. Unfortunately that didn't happen though. The Master liked it when people suffered. After a bit the hart shard was in place and the young woman shrank away. Her hands were shaking though she tried to get them to stop. Running seemed like the best thing to do right now, but she couldn't physically do it. How long would she have to keep an eye on him?
Sephiroth was used to pain. This was barely registering on his scales, but it was still discomforting. He didn't move after she pulled away. He shivered as he sat there, wing feathers floofed. He closed his eyes fully. He didn't want to look at her. Besides, he had the more urgent matter of the feeling in his chest preoccupying his mind.
Even if he had felt worse things it didn't make the sensation pleasant. Xeha did manage to walk across the room to the far wall. She leaned against it and slid down until she was sitting on the floor. Sitting anywhere near him wasn't an option since she couldn't even look at him. She hid her face in her hands and tried to ignore the new vessel connection.
The order had been issued, and she had to follow through with it, even if she didn’t want to. She really didn’t want to. Xeha stood in a quiet part of the castle and reached out to the familiar darkness that was present in the sigil left on Sephiroth by Xemnas. That would probably be enough to summon him.
He grumbled a bit as he flushed his eyes with water, the black sludge of the blind cast at him washing away slowly and with his excessive effort, still his eyes were stubbornly stuck close by the muck and he quickly grew frustrated and flopped back, rubbing at his eyes silently until he heard something moving....
Not good...
He slowly stood up and blindly fumbled for his weapon, drawing it and steadying himself "....who's there?"

"…No. I will not allow Jenova to taint anyone else."
Getting quite a scare from the unexpected appearance of the taller, Repliku gaped at the man before asking, "Uh-- Wait, what? So you know what he's talking about?"
