Please welcome the glamorous new iteration of Monster Friends’s Combat UI! (Version 8)

CHANGELOG:

The biggest changes have gone to the Status UI windows for Whimsie and Mopsy! Notice the fabulous new custom font for the names, and the superb shading on the HP/SP bars!

Notice the new TOOL bar! This option is exclusive to Whimsie, being an inventor and creator of things. 

Notice the beautiful circles in the background! Somehow they add substance and fabulous factor: fitting for the glamorous ghost!

P.S. The Mettacrit sprite is from a fella named Chip Potato! They also made the Sans sprite from the previous version.

P.S.S. The custom font for the character names are from a friend on the Discord server, Pearl Fey! Not to be confused by the mystic from Ace Attorney.

P.S.S.S. Fighting Mettacrit is not a canon event as of now, sorry :<

Today's sketches of Whimsie and Mopsy were brought to you by the REAL WORLD! Includes collectables like Whimsie's Glasses, Whimsie's Hat and even Mopsy's Hair Bow! P.S. I learned that sketching on paper is faster than on a tablet.

This is a design for Whimsie's (the sad moth with 3D glasses) humble home! The house used to be an observatory, now converted into a place to live in. The property itself is small and cluttered, which suits a small Whimsie well. P.S. A small house is the best to design: is short but very sweet!

Comparing the original 2016 Monster Friends designs to today's version! I feel like I have improved in terms of proportion and design. Also: I redraw the 2016 design... shudder!

Meet the cast of my Undertale AU, Monster Friends! If you've noticed, Whimsie and Mopsy have undergone some design changes with their sprite... - Whimsie is taller, and wears a green scarf and old 3D glasses. Stylish! - Mopsy wears a pair of short overalls over a dress! The "X" on her overalls is supposed to be a spider, but limited space calls for simplification! XD P.S. I have done group portraits before, but this GRID COLOUR FORMAT IS SO COOL :D

Meet Whimsie (the small moth) and Mopsy (the spider girl)! P.S. These two kiddos are part of the Undertale AU Monster Friends! One was born unable to use magic, the other was born blind. One builds tools and inventions, the other has psychic powers!
