Kintsugi’s Portfolio by saewel.
"Kintsugi" is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with powdered gold treating breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. After a few years of fighting with myself, I decided to make my own artfolio (even though I'm not an artist at all).
I called this page "Kintsugis" since drawing, designing and painting are my way to show myself that I can create a more beautiful and shining world, that I can give anxiety a big battle and win eventually.
For years I thought that worrying was something normal, but I realized that I was preoccupied with a thousands of “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios, I realized I lost myself in negative beliefs, or worrying about worrying. If you feel what i'm trying to say, please search help: Go to therapy, start yoga, read a book, listen music, smile and breathe, don't overthink because everything will be fine there's is no what if, you'll find and that's all.I found the peace and strength to draw again after years off, and I found out my own brand new place there. Let me be part of yours and let me try to bring you a smiling second at least with my works. I hope this doesn't sound too cocky but I wanted to share this with all of you. You guys, are amazing, and via Tumblr you helped me with all those reblogs and notes, you guys encourage me to start over.
So, thank you with all my heart.
