Isreal has planned to attack Rafah and to completely close the border to Egypt on the first day of Ramadan. This week is the very last week where we can help disabled people to get out. We do not know when the border will be open again, but it could last month if not a year. And evacuating those people out is extremely expensive. The money is going to Safebow to evacuate kids under 4yo, disabled, and pregnant people. Those are people who definitely will not survive if they are stuck in gaza. They are extremely urgent cases, people with cancer, who need insulin, people with broken mobility aids etc...

If you’re not following Raindove on instagram you might not be aware of their grassroots movement targeting Gazan Palestinian refugees in need of urgent aid. They’re currently on site in Egypt doing direct cash aid.

Their cash aid program is coming to an end, they were allowed 90 days and it’s closing in. They’re handing out the last envelopes and wrapping up. Legally they can’t do more in Egypt. What they’ve done is amazing, grassroots, direct help to people in need, it’s little but it’s transparent and effective.

On top of the direct cash-aid they’ve managed to separately safely evacuate some people.

As their time there is coming to an end they had a plan to evacuate 9 more people from Gaza, family members of their team of Gazan refugees who have worked alongside to organise the cash-aid program and handouts.

They’re short 5000 dollars due sudden raise of evacuation costs.

If you can, consider contributing -> if you can’t consider sharing to help them raise the remaining funds. They’re currently about 3300usd short!
