BITE SABER REVIEW

The bite saber is a thin, long chewie. The bite saber’s design is inspired from lightsabers. 

As all of the other ARK products, the bite saber is available in soft, XT and XXT. The bite saber is also available in a pencil topper version, link here. 

Pros and cons:

Chewable with back teeth

Seems like it will hold up quite a long time, even with aggressive chewing

No squeaking, at least in XXT

Nice colors

Great for star wars and light saber lovers! 

Very little deformation even after many many hours of chewing

Might not fit too well into some adults wardrobes (although it can be tucked under a shirt)

BRICK STICK - REVIEW

The brick stick is chewlery that comes on a necklace with a safety clap.  The brick stick is available in 3 different toughness levels either in smooth or textured. The textured brick stick looks like a LEGO on one side and has small bumps on the other side (can be chewed off if you are/have an aggressive chewer). 

The new colors (orange XXT, dark blue soft, hot pink XT) are available in the textured version. 

Size: Each pendant is 1.5" wide by 2.5" tall and just under ½" in thickness

If you are an aggressive chewer the end of the chewie might end up looking a bit “squished”, especially if you chew with your molars.

PROS AND CONS

Great option for texture lovers and haters

The textured version looks just like a lego necklace 

Fits into many wardrobes due to simplistic design and many color options

XXT does get softer over time

compared to the bite saber the brick stick is much softer and easier to bite into 

Smooth version is very durable

Textured version may be destroyed faster if you focus all chewing on the bumps

soft and XT may squeak in beginning (you can apply chapstick to eliminate any squeaking until it goes away on its own)

I personally prefer using the smooth brick stick daily, and use the textured one when needing more sensory stimulation.

Dulcimer Pendant - REVIEW

(ID card for size comparison) I got the Dulcimer pendant chew from Stimtastic in the color "Claret". It came with cleaning instructions and a rubber wristband as well.  This is my first chewie and I really like it!  It's quite squishy which is nice for me, though I doubt it would stand up long to heavy chewers.  It's flexible and springy, and chewing it is similar to chewing a tough steak.  My favorite part is all the textures.  I often just hold it in my mouth and run my tongue over the textures (esp. the little nub on the bottom)! It's also great for chewing with the molars or premolars.

Chew tube 3/8″ and 1/2″ - COMPARISON

The size difference is actually significant when it comes to chewing and aesthetics, much more than i had anticipated. 

The 3/8″ is recommended for children under the age of 10, although some younger children might prefer the larger 1/2″ tube instead and vice versa with adults who might prefer the 3/8″ tube. 

The products shown in pictures are the chew tube 1/2″ in blue on a tether and the chew tube 3/8″ on a tether. Both tethers are blue with yellow text, you can chose between a lanyard or the tether. You can also purchase extra tethers/lanyard. The tether is available in 3 different colors, embroidered, blue with yellow and black. 

The two tubes are the same exact color. 

(black option comes with the black chew tube, all lanyard are black, All other chew tubes are attached to a blue and yellow tether).

CHEWIES EASILY CHEWED WITH MOLARS

Items on this list are all chewable with the molars (back teeth) and come in different textures, designs and firmness. 

Starting off with Handhelds chewies:

ARK Grabber is very easily accessed with back teeth. Available in smooth/textured in 3 different toughness levels. 

ARK Y-Chew is an oral motor chew originally made for toddlers and others who were having oral motor issues, and now also has firmer versions of it to be used either as an oral motor tool or as a chewie! Has 3 “hands”, one smooth, one ribbed and one textured. Available in 3 different toughness levels. 

ARK lullabites Reindeer Baby chew was originally made as a teething toy for babies, but due to demand ARK now also makes them in firm and very firm (comparable to XT and XXT). 

Necklaces/Chewlery

ARK Kryptobite chewlery is a very popular and well known chewie, and it should be! It is a smooth chewie necklace that looks good and is available in many different colors and 3 toughness levels. 

ARK Bite saber is a partially smooth partially textured chewie great for star wars fans (or anyone who thinks lightsabers are cool). This chewie is quite long and is available in 3 different toughness levels. 

ARK brick stick is a chewie that is available in textured or smooth in 3 different toughness levels (textured linked). 

Chubuddy Chew tube is a smooth, very durable tube. This is my personal favourite, and is one of the most durable chews out there, whilst still being fun to chew and not too firm or hard. Made for moderate-avid chewers.(Note: Comes with a 90 day “no chew through warranty”, more information here) Now available on a tether or a lanyard in 2 different sizes (1/2″ and 3/8″) in 5 different colors!

ARK Therapeutic

The most adorable Reindeer chew (note: this was originally just made in soft, but due to the fact that so many asked for it to made in XT and XXT it is now available in XT and XXT!) HERE

Grabbers! The Grabber is a handheld chewie that can be chewed with molars and the front teeth. The “loop” is also chewable, which some people like to chew on whist others just like to hold the grabber by the loop Grabbers are available in textured and smooth (and as most other ark products, in three different toughness levels) and also in a smaller baby version. HERE

The Y-Chew. The Y-Chew is a handheld chewable with three different “arms” all differently textured. Also available in three different “toughness levels” HERE

Chewigem

The Hexichew is a handheld chewable that has six “arms”. It is textured and if you have more than one you can loop them together since the balls can be looped through the rings. The hexichew is also a great fidget in addition to being a chew toy. HERE

Although the eternity pendant officially ISN’T a handheld chewable, i wanted to add it since it has an extremely comforting and calming smooth finish (its is still 100% safe to chew). I am not kidding when i say that. It is unlike any chewie i have ever felt. HERE

Also available are the Toy Phone, Toy credit card and Toy Remote. These are mainly meant for babies and younger demographics, although they can be suitable for a mild/moderate chewer (child, teen or adult). All three found HERE

Last but certainly NOT least we have STIMTASTIC

Elephant handheld chewable. The adorable handheld chewable is very very nice to chew on. It is made as a teething pendant for teething babies, but it did work for me if I chewed on it carefully. HERE 

The handheld chewable owl. This chewie is for light chewers and is a very light chewie.
