Troubles With Transport. - Seven of Nine/Tallinn, Tallinn/Seven of Nine/Raffi Musiker.

Laris is resting the first time that transport troubles start. Tallinn, who usually rides her bike, finds she is struck with a sense of foreboding that makes her agree to go with Seven on the bus instead. Both women hide their unique qualities under what Raffi has always called their ‘glamours’ instead of ‘disguises’ both accepting the need even as they hold tight to one another as they travel. Raffi remains at home, doing some smaller repairs with vines and broken posts, ignoring the workers calls and doing her own private work. Later she would present her work for both Seven and Tallinn to inspect, but not yet. It’s only when they get home that Raffi knows something went wrong. Someone moved too close and Seven had all but dragged Tallinn away from them when she froze. Tallinn is still surprisingly broken by the changes from Watching to being part of the family, her bodily changes also still wrapping her in self-doubt. Seven is not so unsure, especially around men who remind her too strongly of the Magistrate and his wandering hands even when she refused him. The food, freshly bought, is unpacked by a quiet Tallinn, Seven murmuring what happened to Raffi and smiling softly when Tallinn shifts closer, gently curling into her lap, stroking a reassuring hand over Tallinn’s back. “We need a car…” “Oh I’m never letting you drive again Seven…” Raffi mutters the words, making Tallinn smile when she adds… “You need lessons… or we could have Talli drive?” “What do you think ‘Linn? Car?” “Better than the bus.” Tallinn murmurs, then smiles as she adds… “It would be nice to… get out sometimes.”
