샤프란을 집에서 키울 수 있다는 사실을 알게된 이후, 친구와 함께 충동구매해버렸다. 친구가 고맙게도 배달 받은 직후 화분에 심어주기까지하는 바람에, 나는 그저 가끔 물만 주고 있었을 뿐이었다. 그러다가 어느날 꽃이 하나, 두개씩 피기 시작하더니 여기저기 다 피기 시작했다. 그럴때마다 조심스럽게 꽃을 뽑아 샤프란을 뽑아 햇빛이 안 드는 곳에 말려두었다. 4-6주쯤 이렇게 건조해야한다고 나오네.
