a quick fancharacter thats been itching to go on paper for a while, first concept for Saffron Grey for @velocesmells‘s comic Countdown to Countdown

She’s not a bad person, but she’s not exactly upstanding. on the upside her local nickname is “pool noodle” because she’s built like one, and that’s about as tough a throw as she can give, too, which is probably why she does underhanded stuff like hypnotizing people into running into the fray for her while she retreats

I wanna say that a tragic backstory is what caused this slew of bad behavior from her, but to be real she’s had a sort of boring life. very little has happened to her, so her actions are more caused by a lack of proper guidance rather than an exposure to terrible deeds

also she’s kind of a wimp so she wears knee pads so she won’t skin her knees when she falls, which is a lot, don’t let her aloof attitude fool you; she’s clumsy and has terrible hand to eye coordination 

if you peel back all those sarcastic, apathetic, desensitized layers you’ll find a slightly more sensitive asshole underneath 

ill probably end up doodling her more later... for now y’all need to read ctc aight bye
