The question that this, obviously intimidated, yet thoughtful, timid reporter asked was not, ‘Does the president have the authority to kneecap and dismantle the Consumer Product Safety Commission?’ She was inquiring into WHY the president has rendered the CPSC useless. Feraline Levvit’s, smug, arrogant response is a microcosm of this whole, deeply flawed, corrupt administration.

Never give a credible explanation. Never admit fault. Never apologize. Never reverse course on any failures.

This is the protocol of a teenage 1950’s hooligan street gang heading to terrorize the local soda store before heading to the sock hop, than it is a manual of how mature adults in charge of the government should approach policy.

The effects of defunding, dismantling, and/or dissolving of agencies like the CFPB, Cyber Crime Task Force, USAID and CPSC may not be felt immediately, but they will eventually.

The sooner the American people understand that their general welfare, safety, health and life fall a distant third or 4th place to the wealthy and corporations than corporate profits, the better.

No one who gives one iota to the wellbeing of children or their parents would dissolve an independent agency in charge of ensuring product safety.

Just another glaring example of how the “gop” cares for regular Americans.

Remember your 4th and 5th rights

4th right; search and seizure: You have the right to NOT be searched.

5th right; remain silent: You have the right to NOT self incriminate and the RIGHT to remain silent.

If ICE does approach do not GIVE them ANYTHING. do not SPEAK to them. And remember you have the RIGHT to get a LAWYER.

Please ask them if you are DETAINED. If no ask AM I FREE TO GO? If they say you are free leave CALMLY

The first rule of firearm safety is to treat every gun as if it’s loaded. Of course we all know that not every gun will kill you if you put it to your head and pull the trigger. Some guns ARE unloaded, some have the safety on, some are jammed, some are fake. But you’re still not going to pick up a random gun, put it to your head and pull the trigger if you don’t want to die. Every gun is loaded because you can never REALLY know. To a woman walking at night or traveling alone or being in various other scenarios, every man is dangerous because she can never really know until the worst happens.

I just saw a vid on tiktok about this so I am going to put it here:

IF YOU ARE IN AN UNSAFE DOMESTIC RELATIONSHIP IN AUSTRALIA, PLEASE READ!

On July 27th, the Australian goverment is going to be testing out a new alert system named the 'Oz alert system'.

Most phones in Australia are going to be making a loud siren like sound.

If you or someone you know has a secret or hidden phone, the siren will go off, which could potentially alert an abuser or dangerous individual of the hidden phones location.

So far it has been said to put your phone on airoplane mode to stop the siren from playing.

Do not disturb has been said NOT to work, so please do not relly on it.

The best advice so far is to give your spare/secret/hidden phone to a trusted individual prior to June 27th, so it is away from the abuser's location.

Another instruction is to turn the phone off completley.

Some devices are compatiable eoth the Oz alert system and some are not, you can go to the website to find out if your decice is or isnt.

Please share this in some way (make your own post or reblog this one or smth like that) because this is very important.
