Thankful Tuesdays Throwback to an invitation by my section trainees who had recently graduated from SAFVC basic training. Very heartened to be invited and to get to know them more on a personal level. Proud to hear most of them had joined the dragon boat and running interests groups of SAFVC. Thankful Thursdays This is platoon 2 section 2. My joy, my pride and this is my section. My first training of adult learners in our NS system. Truly honoured to be their section leader. Inspired by their commitment to defence. No one forced them to serve but they willingly offer their time and effort for the greater good. Twas definitely heartening to hear how they will better prepare their sons and even encourage their wives to join. Thankful Thursdays My most recent attachment is to our SAF Volunteer Corps or SAFVC! I'm actually more inspired to see adults having the perseverance to serve the country voluntarily. Not to mention young and mature women who dedicate their free time to volunteer for the greater good of our country. Looking forward for the upcoming training to be a good trainer for them to confidently graduate from basic training!
