“Nope, no, non. I don’t like that.” Cora walked around the mannequin with a frown of her face. “That just looks hideous.” She’d been working on this dress now for several hours and she couldn’t get the seams right. “How about I just set it on fire?” She yelled in frustration.

For once it was quiet in the cafe he inhabited. Almost abandoned except for a few bodies, but even those dwindled evenly and finally, Cerberus was left to himself. Not that he really minded. He liked it this way - he liked being alone. Although, he was never really alone. Not fully. Not ever. So when someone began to speak either towards him or to themselves he felt a frown tug on his lips. There went the peace… there went what little solace he had. “Yaaay…” The vampire muttered in a monotone, not at all enthused by the other’s presence. Slowly Cerberus lowered the newspaper, dark eyes falling upon the other. “Great, lovely, now if you don’t mind I’m trying to read up on how depressing and shitty the world is.”

“I suppose you could tell me your life’s story, but really I was just asking for your drink order.” Said the bartender, leaning on the bar towards the other. She was only an hour into her six hour shift, so it was a little early for her to be so sassy, but it had been a bad day, and she was rather pent up over it all.

Josephine had just finished settling into her office, some things still needed rearranging but for now, they would have to stay that way while she took a small break to take it all in. Starting somewhere new wasn’t always easy, but she would make the best of her time at the school. Her eyes moved over to the list of students she’d have the pleasure of working with at some point, it seemed to go on and on, “Oh boy, it’s going to be one hell of a ride from here on out,” she said to no one in particular. The vampire didn’t mind giving her time to those who needed it, but she found it important to create a trustful bond between each individual to ensure they got what they needed during their visits with her.

Levi woke up next to someone he didn’t recognize right away. It wasn’t unexpected for him. He tended to have a few different people in his bed a week. It kind of helped ease how much he missed his girlfriend, but of course it wasn’t all about that. He loved people and he loved sleeping with people. Luckily his girlfriend had the same appetite he did. “Hey,” he greeted sleepily. He grinned and moved his arm over their bare side. “You want something to eat?” he asked then added, “Or go for round number 2?”

“Honestly?” The blonde asked out loud, referring to the kid currently running through Jackson Square from her, bumping into everyone as he glanced back at her to see if she were chasing him. Alex took off after him, making sure to keep her speed in check as there were others around. Once she got into the alley way between the church and some other buildings, she stopped and looked around. “Son of a bitch.” The kid was gone, so much for that bounty. Alex smirked, and punched a wall next to her in anger. She hated her job.
