Revisiting our 86th Anniversary Celebration
Jamaica High School for Girls opened her gates on Sept 21, 1925. The school was later renamed St. Andrew High School for Girls (SAHS) . This year St Andrew High marked her eighty-sixth anniversary with the theme, True Happiness..."Life More Abundant". An inspiring service, focused on God's love, was held at the school's Garden Theatre and led by Faith Thomas of Choose Life International. Read more Our museum's online community, comprised of members of the public coupled with St. Andrew High graduates and Jamaica College (J.C) alumni, also paid tribute to St. Andrew High School re: her 86th Anniversary on Sept 21, 2011. Celebratory messages and photographs were submitted from Austria, Germany, Ghana and the United States of America and across the island of Jamaica. They were collectively used to create this slide show, a virtual Memory Box. Do enjoy!
