EDIT: Ok, so here’s this bug in SAI2, that makes the interface lag - aka, the brush settings panel may not change when switching tools, and I haven’t realised that when making screenshots... thus 3 brushes had wrong settings >_>’ (nr 5, 12 and 14 had Paper texture while they should be “No texture”, “Fuzystatic” and “Watercolor 1″ respectively)
Now everything is ok... but I wish I’d realised that before that wave of reblogs... now people will have it wrong in their reblogs ;_; (prays to gods so people will check the source post)

And some doodles, where I was testing those brushes:link
This is a repost of my original submission at Deviantart. link
If you use the SAI2 beta and want to try those brush settings, please download the .zip file (by going HERE to the DA submission, and then clicking the download button near the fave button), then go to folder where you keep your SAI2 beta, and replace the "Blotmap", "Bristle" and "Brushtext" folders with those from the .zip file. Then turn on the program and the textures should load automatically.
The zip file contains a mix of textures and blotmaps from Sai 1.x.x and Sai2 beta.
It also contains a bit modified "Fuzystatic.bmp" texture. The original one has very obvious looping, so I decided to fix it a bit.
After this, you can manually replicate the brush settings from this tutorial. These brushes are something I made to test SAI2, partially via trial and error, partially by using brush settings from tutorials for older version.
You can use those brush settings for any kind of work you want, they're completly free. Crediting the me under the work is not necessary.
Please do not repost this tutorial on other websites and/or claim as yours. The drawings in the tutorial are made by me.
Can those settings be replicated in SAI 1.x.x?
First, SAI 2 beta has more brush settings than the previous version - for example you can scale brush texture, while it's not possible in 1.x.x (unless you make smaller versions of those textures as a separate .bmp files and load them into a program manually, but this sounds incredibly tedious and is propably ineffective)
Also, If you replicate those settings you CAN (like Pressure Sensitivity, Density, Texture intensity, etc.) you'll find out the brushes turn out to be completly different than in SAI 2(I tried ).
However, I think you can replicate the effects, but via different settings - Sai 1.x.x brushes seem coded a bit differently than Sai 2 beta, meaning they're more sharp, textures are more visible when at comparable "Intensity" value etc. etc. Meaning that even if there are less presets to play with, those that are there offer more extreme results, aka more variety (the textures on SAI 2 look reaaally soft... it's antyaliasing game is strong) Just play a bit, and I'm sure you'll get the results you want.
You can download the current SAI2 beta from the developer’s website: link
You can use it, but to unlock saving feature, you have to use your license certificate from Sai ver.1 (the website explains how, the process is basically the same as with Sai 1, except you get your ID code through SAI2)
I know it may be too early to post this (since SAI2 is still in the development), but to be honest, even at this point it's a fantastic piece of software. The only thing that keeps me from abandoning V1 completly is that V2 still lacks color filthers XD.
I use it and play around with it a lot, and these settings are the result - I personally like them, maybe they will be usefull to some of you too.
