sometimes i feel like returning this blog back to my old username & just starting over on a fresh blog with this user name.
this blog just is so old, i kinda just used to reblog everything here for a long time. the damn was started in 2013 when i was 14. there's probably a lot of things i dont care to have on here anymore, but i dont want to sort 16k post either. that'd be absurd.

I appreciate the cast of the Netflix atla adaptation included a poc cast. And I’m glad they did. Atla should be a poc cast.
I’m still disappointed that many of the water tribe characters were once again lightened. Wish they would’ve casted dark asian/poc for the roles. It should’ve been done atleast for sokka and katara since they’re the main dark-skin poc characters in atla.
Tbf my chances of watching the Netflix atla is nonexistent bc I don’t pay for streaming, nor have I ever had much interest in live action remakes. I’ll just watch to original over the remake.
Here’s to hoping this Netflix adaptation doesn’t give an excuse for ppl to lighten sokka, katara, and other dark-skinned atla characters in fan-art. Hopefully ppl tag it as Netflix atla and not atla.
