He's done this a million times before. But never like this, though. I mean... electricity? Water? It's a real, actual city, and not a village, or a base, or even a ruined semblance of what once might have maybe been a city. The place was a safe haven, and he couldn’t tell how he was being fooled.
Still, it's obviously in his best interests to play cautious about it. The strategy was tried and true, and he didn’t want to accidentally get himself killed and end up back in some normal island with little more than rabbits and sticks to keep himself entertained, or god forbid, back into his cage.
Of course, all his learned caution went straight out of the window as soon as his city-born curiosity rose back up and he saw someone who looked terribly interesting.
Wes, impulsively, leaned close to Saiki, looking thoughtful about his interesting choice of headpiece and eyewear and flashy hairstyle. The mime gave a cheery, theatrical wave, an interested smile upon his painted face.
