Couples halloween costumes for the straw hat gang? (sorry ik it’s not even close to halloween yet) hehe
(Modern AU)
Monkey D. Luffy: It was only appropriate for Luffy to want to be the king of something so when you suggested he be Jack Skellington, he was on board! After watching the movie with you over and over, he easily convinced you to be Sally. With the help of Usopp and other friends, the costumes and make up were on point (even though you had to stop Luffy from rubbing his face so that he wouldn’t mess up all the white make up on his skin or the black markings).
Roronoa Zoro: Zoro didn’t really care for Halloween but once you convinced him to dress up this year, he let you decide everything. You decided that the best thing for his scars and everything was for him to be a zombie while you dressed up as the person that he bit. With some amazing make up skills from your side and an amazing costume design, it worked out, especially with the special effects on the ‘bite mark’ on your shoulder.
Nami: When you suggested for Nami to dress up as Mary Jane because of her beautiful hair, she hopped onto the idea. She spent her time focusing on your outfit since hers was easy to assemble. She was excited to see how you would look as her Spiderman/woman/person. You thought it was cute how happy she was when you tried on the costume and blushed when she teased on trying out the infamous kissing scene from the movie.
Usopp: You teased him about his curly hair and his growing beard and how he should be a werewolf for Halloween. He didn’t think it was such a bad idea so he decided to do that. He wanted you to match with him but you had no idea what to be. You decided to be his ‘mate’ and dressed up as a werewolf as well, making him flustered but also thinking how adorable you were.
Sanji: The two of you were sitting together, discussing your Halloween plans. You brought up the idea of him being a vampire and he actually was on board with the idea! He actually pulled it off very well. With his appearance alone, he gave off the aura of a mysterious vampire yet he was still a gentleman throughout the night. Once you dressed up as a ‘victim’ of his, he couldn’t keep his hands off of you. He admired the bite mark that you made with make up and you had to pull him out of his daydreams all day.
Tony Tony Chopper: He was very excited for Halloween. It was the one day of the year that he could be someone else! So when he told you that he wanted to be a mad scientist, you were willing to help him! After watching several movies with him, you suggested that he be Frankenstein and you could be his creation. You found it so adorable how excited he was and got to work. He had most of the things he needed to be a mad scientist but with some adjustments, he made it look legit. With make up and tears in your clothing, you were the perfect monster for him. (Even though he tried to be crazy, he was still too adorable, making you hug him and ruin the atmosphere he tried so hard to create)
Nico Robin: You often complimented Robin a lot because, to you, it seemed as if she had everything, looks and personality. So, when the two of you were discussing Halloween, she brought up one of the books that she was studying. Greek Mythology. You chimed in that she should be Aphrodite, making her giggle at your suggestion, and she agreed only if you were her Hephaestus. After putting some adjustments on the two costumes, it was a nice fit for the two of you.
Franky: He let you choose the outfit and he was amused when you suggested him being an explorer. He would question you but he decided to go along with it. You complimented him, saying that he looked like Indiana Jones, before going off to put on your costume. You scared the crap out of him when you groaned behind him in your mummy costume. He laughed at how cute you looked. You pouted as you were trying to be scary but he only found it cute.
Brook: To be honest, the two of you weren’t really prepared for Halloween so the two of you had to do last second costumes. He decided that a simple sheet with holes where the eyes were would be good enough so he called himself a ghost. The two of you laughed at seeing each other when you decided to use make up to look like a skeleton. If anyone asked, he was the ghost of your previous self.

Monkey D. Luffy: He loves their hands. He loves playing with their fingers and feeling their skin against his. When he’s bored, he’ll just start playing with their hands, massaging, kissing, anything to their hands. He especially likes holding their hand
Roronoa Zoro: He likes their stomach and thighs. Especially when he’s about to take a nap. It doesn’t matter the size of them, he thinks it’s the ideal spot to take a nap. He likes to nuzzle against their stomach when he was about to nap. During intimate times, he likes touching their thighs the most.
Nami: She likes the color of their eyes, the size of their eyes, and the way she could tell their emotions when she looks into them. She likes making eye contact with them whenever she can. Intimate moments especially where she feels like the eyes reveal their true feelings.
Usopp: He just really loved their cheeks. He liked putting his hands on their cheeks and stretching them out. He would have a lot of fun playing with their cheeks but he would also be in awe at how soft they were against his hands. Not to mention, he likes kissing their cheeks the most.
Sanji: When he hugs them from behind, he likes nuzzling his face in their neck. They’re his favorite places to give them kisses too. He would notice how they’d get even more flustered when he gave special attention to those areas. He also likes hugging them around the shoulders since his arms fit perfectly there.
Tony Tony Chopper: If they had short legs or long legs, it didn’t matter to him. He really liked their legs for some reason. He liked hugging your legs since he was short but he liked how it felt to have his arms around their leg. Especially when they walked, even though it was hard for them with him attached.
Nico Robin: When she held them close, she loved stroking their hair and playing the strands of their hair, no matter if it was long or short. She especially liked tangling her hand in their hair whenever she kissed them. She also found their lips to be very attractive whether it was a smile or a kiss.
Franky: He really loved their hips. Whenever they hugged, he would always wrap his arms around their hips. When they talked in front of him, his hands rested on their hips. He didn’t even realize it half the time but when he did notice, he didn’t put his hands down. As long as they allowed it, of course.
Brook: He really liked their waist. When they hugged, his arms wrapped snuggly around their waist. He would frequently pick them up and his arms would always find their way on their waist. He didn’t know why he found it so appealing but he did. Maybe it was because he could hold them close.
Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji and Robin having a vanilla s/o?
Monkey D. Luffy: It doesn’t bother him. He rarely has an interest in that stuff anyway so if his partner was vanilla, it didn’t really affect their love life since that wasn’t the most important thing in their relationship.
Roronoa Zoro: He’d be a bit embarrassed when they first brought it up but it wouldn’t bother him. He just wants his partner comfortable.
Nami: She thinks that it makes her partner more adorable but she doesn’t mind it. Once they get comfortable in the relationship, she might ask them if they’re open to other stuff. If they aren’t, she’ll be okay with it.
Usopp: He’s definitely okay with it. He's actually a bit relieved since he’s also a bit vanilla as well.
Sanji: As long as his partner is happy, he’s happy. He wouldn’t want to upset his partner and if they ever wanted to try something other than ‘vanilla’, he’d try it for them.
Nico Robin: She’d find them adorable. She loves her partner all the same and if they were ever curious to try something, she wouldn’t say ‘no’.

Monkey D. Luffy:
Height doesn’t really matter to him even if they use it to his advantage (he just uses his devil fruit if they hold something up from him)
He loves when they hug him because he can just rest his head against their shoulder/chest
Even though they aren’t that much taller, Luffy always wants piggy back rides from them, especially when he’s exhausted after a fight. They don’t mind so much since they find it cute how he nuzzles against them when he falls asleep against them
Usopp:
Is slightly embarrassed from it but gets used to it since he cares so much for his partner
Gets flustered when his partner grabs things for him and when they tease him for his blushing face
Finds it really cute when his partner leans down a little to kiss him even though it makes him flustered. His partner finds it adorable when he has to lean up. It’s just a cute relationship overall
Nami:
Absolutely loves having her partner being taller (even if it is only a couple of inches), It makes her feel protected
She likes being able to wrap her arms around their neck and receiving forehead kisses from them. Forehead kisses are a must for her
Cuddling with her taller partner makes her feel secure and safe for some reason. Especially at night
I don't know if this counts as an emergency ask. If it doesn't then you can just delete this. I'm a girl, and for two years now I've just been feeling worthless and depressed. The family member I was close to past away, and right after that I was in was an emotionally abusive relationship. It's gotten worse recently, and idk what to do anymore. No one around me knows I feel this way, but think I'm happy. Anyway maybe something from the Straw Hats might help(or just Zoro if you don't have time)?

Monkey D. Luffy: He couldn’t bear seeing you so upset. He was very observant when it came to his crew’s emotional state so when he noticed how you were depleting, he dragged you to his room and asked what was wrong. He panicked a bit as you sat down and started crying from your troubles. He sat down next to you and watched silently as you revealed everything to him. Your depression, your family member, the abusive relationship, and how you were feeling worthless. It was hard for him to keep his emotions under control but he was able to. He watched as you kept crying and it honestly broke his heart. He moved over to you and wrapped his arm around you so you could cry into his chest. He patted your head gently while you instantly curled up into his chest. The usually cheerful captain was surprisingly comforting you with his unexpected silence. When he finally did speak with a soft grin on his face, you could only grip his shirt and cry again in his chest.
“You know… Unfair things have happened to you but.. You can’t hate your way into loving yourself. And we’ll help you. All of us. We’re friends.”
Roronoa Zoro: He had pulled you up to the crow’s nest during his night watch and bugged you until you finally broke down and told him what you were feeling lately. He awkwardly listened to you as you started to cry. He could only wince every time you took a jab at yourself. He was frustrated when you started blaming yourself and he decided that he had enough. He picked you up by the hips and placed you on his lap before gently flicking your forehead. He scolded you gently for placing any blame on yourself when it was circumstances that you couldn’t control. He sighed softly and reached up to wipe the falling tears with his fingers, urging you to calm down. Once your sobs quieted down to silent tears, he gently patted your head and pulled you into his chest to hug you tightly to him. If he were honest, his emotions were everywhere. He wanted to be pissed at the person who could ever even think about hurting you yet also wanted to be empathetic to your lost family member, most importantly though he wanted you to know that you would never have to go through it by yourself. He took a couple seconds to think of the proper words that could really get through with you. He rested his head on top of yours and rubbed your back gently as you trembled a bit in his arms from your tears. His words brought you comfort even if he was a bit awkward.
“You keep saying all this stuff that you see is wrong with you but from how I see it… There’s way more right things about you than wrong so let me show you all that right stuff, okay?… Now quit crying already. You know I ain’t good at comforting people.”
Nami: Her heart was breaking at every sob that left your body. She had her arms tightly around you and she was hugging you to her chest. She didn’t mind that your tears were wetting her shirt since she just wanted to make you feel better. She was playing with your hair gently as she listened to you let everything out. You could feel how her grip changed with every emotion she was feeling. Her grip was loose and gentle when talking about your family member but was tight and protective when you talked about your previous relationship and how you were feeling lately. She stayed quiet just rubbing your back running her fingers through your hair, making sure that you were calm before speaking. She gently tapped your chin so that you could look at her. She smiled softly when you raised your head and her hands cupped your cheeks gently. Her thumbs gently wiped the tears away and she rested her forehead against yours. She kissed your nose before taking a second to think.
“I know that you’re not feeling good about yourself lately but what I think… You need love the most when you feel you deserve it the least.” She nuzzled her nose against yours and smiled softly. “I’ll be glad to love you all you need.” She smiled at your flustered expression and hugged you tightly again.
Usopp: When he saw you crying, he immediately panicked. He ran over to you and fretted over you, not actually touching you yet. He sat down in front of you and coaxed you to tell him what was wrong. Once you let everything out, his heart felt heavy. He didn’t want to think that you had to go through all of that. He slowly got up and grabbed the blanket that was nearest to the room the two of you were in. He wrapped you up in the blanket and made sure that you were snug. He smiled softly before bringing you into hug. He patted your head gently, albeit awkwardly. He could feel how you clung onto him and your body was trembling slightly with your sobs. He awkwardly rested his head on top of yours, listening to your words. He didn’t like how you were speaking about yourself and finally came up with the words to try and comfort you after you quieted down.
“Your mind can be a very convincing liar and can make up stuff better than I ever will in my stories. I’m here for you. We all are. And if your thoughts are lying ever again just come to me and I’ll say it straight.” He lightly ruffled your hair and smiled.
Sanji: He could tell that you were feeling down lately but he didn’t mean to make you cry when he confronted you about it. When you started telling him everything that led up to this point, his emotions were everywhere. He was furious at anyone who would treat you badly but he knew that he had to control his anger so that he could comfort you and not scare you away. He urged you to continue speaking as he made some tea with you in the kitchen. He sat down next to you and when you were done speaking, he handed you the cup of tea. He reached over and wiped the tears away carefully that fell down your cheeks. Your words about feeling worthless stung his heart and swirled in his head. After a moment of silence, he softly spoke and patted your head.
“After experiencing all of that, anyone would forget how unique they are.” His patting turned to soft stroking and he continued to smile softly at you. “I think that is what happened with you, (Y/N)-swan. You forgot how unique and wonderful you are. If you ever need reminding, I’m here to tell you whenever you need it.”
Tony Tony Chopper: This little ball of fluff would be close to tears himself when he saw you crying in your room. He hopped up onto the bed and curled up into your lap, hugging your middle as best as he could. He asked you what was wrong, keeping his tears at bay. When you finally revealed your sorrows, he felt his eyes sting again. He nuzzled his face into your stomach and listened until you were done. His heart ached in sadness but also in painful recognition. He had felt what you were feeling many times before and he could tell how much you were suffering. He wiped his tears away and quickly collected his thoughts so that he could calm you down. He pulled back and reached up to wipe your tears away with his hooves. His sweet smile calmed your nerves a bit and you looked into his eyes to see empathy and determination.
“You might not believe me but when you think of yourself like that or wish you were another person, everyone’s felt like that at some point. I know I have but I’m making it through it too! So we can work to not do that together!” His smile made you smile a little. He hugged you again and mumbled so you could hear. “I’ll make sure you don’t feel like that again. I promise.”
Nico Robin: She was very observant and knew that you needed someone. She had embraced you tightly while you confessed your woes. She stayed silent as she stroked your hair gently. She was good at keeping her emotions in check and that skill was needed when he heard you talk about your prior problems. He could empathize with your emotions and wanted to let you know that you weren’t alone and that the feeling was nothing to be ashamed of. She pulled back from the hug to gently cup your face and wipe the tears away. She smiled at you, not her normal smile at all, it was soft in a way. She gently bumped your forehead with her own and rested her forehead against yours. She had her arms around you to make you feel safe. She placed a small kiss on your nose and watched as your cheeks heated up with a small blush.
“Now, (Y/N)-san. I want you to think of my words very carefully. Okay?” She smiled as you nodded slightly and she tucked your hair back. “I know it’s hard but you have to accept your past and make peace with it. That’s the only way you can ever accept your future. I promise that it’ll only get better.” She hugged you gently so you could snuggle into her as she whispered, “I promise. I’ll make it happen.”
Franky: He sat with you as you were curled up next to him. He was surprisingly quiet as he heard what was going on in your head as of lately. He felt as if he let you down somehow, as if he could have stopped you from feeling this way. He couldn’t help the pain that filled his chest when he heard the things that you thought of yourself. He had to figure out a way to cheer you up, he wasn’t the best at cheering people up but he had to try for your sake. He had taken off his sunglasses so that he could show you that he was being sincere and watched as you were shaking with your quiet sobs. After he was positive that you were done, he held out his hand so his tiny robot hand could come out and hand you a tissue. You took it and wiped your eyes as his smaller hand patted your head gently. He took the tissue from you when you were done and smiled softly at you. His small hand went back into his much larger hand and he urged you to curl up against him.
“You look better with a smile but I know it’s gonna take some time.” He felt you cuddle up closer to him and he gently wrapped his arm around you. “But.. You should know that there’s no way that you can hate your way into loving yourself.” He lightly patted your head again as he felt you start to cry once again. “Don’t worry. I’m with you. Every step of the way. No matter what.”
Brook: He was surprised at seeing you curled up in the middle of the night but he could tell that you were in distress. He made you move over so that he could take a seat next to you with his violin placed on the ground gently. He softly asked you what was wrong and listened to your troubles as you hesitated to actually talk. He kept his gaze on you as he watched your tears fall. He reached over and wiped your tears away, mumbling a soft apology as you flinched back from the sudden coldness of his bones. Once you were done, you leaned your head against his shoulder and sniffled as the tears slowed down. He looked down at you and leaned back a bit so you were more comfortable. He lightly put his hand on top of yours and cleared his throat slightly.
“All my years on the sea... I’ve learned that you should focus on how you’re living rather than how perfect it’s going. Thinking about how far you’ve come and what you’ve overcome is more important than how much you got left.” He gently patted the top of your hand and smiled before lifting up the violin and showing it to you. “Now, let me cheer you up with a song, okay?” You smiled slightly and nodded as he put the violin between his chin and shoulder. You closed your eyes as the strings vibrated with a soothing song.

Monkey D. Luffy: “Hey! It’s you again!” The person froze up and groaned at the sound of the pirate captain. They hated crossing paths with the captain. With his stupid grin and his stupid voice and his stupid scar and his stupid happiness and and his stupid muscles and his stupidly handsome face- They blushed and quickly shook their head at their thoughts. They turned around to look at him and sweat dropped at him waving high in the air.
“Don’t act like we’re friends, idiot!” He only blinked and grinned.
“Right!” They sighed at his simple mindedness. He, on the other hand, didn’t know what he felt but all he knew was that he liked seeing their blush. He had his own nickname for them and whenever he called them that he saw them blush. All that he was concerned with was that they were a worthy opponent and he was always looking forward to the next time he’ll see them.
Roronoa Zoro: He saw them as a skilled swords person and found himself excited every time they were engaged in battle. When he found himself in a battle with them, he felt a rush go through him at just seeing them and felt adrenaline go through him. He smirked as he placed his hand on his sword and unsheathed it a bit.
“We meet again.” They narrowed their eyes and pointed their own sword at him.
“Yeah. And I’m gonna kick your ass this time!” He smirked again and fully took out his sword, lifting it up to his mouth.
“Confident, huh?” Their eyes narrowed.
“Yeah! And there’s no way I’m going to let you run off again, you bastard!” They blushed lightly as they remembered that they let him go last time from getting distracted. They scowled as he just smirked again at them, but they couldn’t even deny the blush that was making it’s way onto their face.
Nami: She was leaning against the railing as the Sunny docked in the rendezvous point where she, Usopp, Brook, and Chopper were suppose to meet the rest of them while they fought off the last of their enemies. Her eyes scanned the crowd of depleting enemies when she met familiar (E/C) eyes. A smile made it’s way to her lips as she saw the familiar marine uniform. She raised her arm high into the air and waved excitedly, smiling brightly.
“(Y/N)-san~! Hi~!” The marine took down one of the pirates from another crew and blinked at the voice. They looked over and took a while to process her. They instantly turned red in the face and pointed at her.
“It’s you?!” She giggled at their outburst and rested her head in her palm, wiggling her fingers with her other hand at the flustered soldier.
“Happy to see me, huh? Cute as ever~” She exclaimed, making the marine stiffen and turn an even darker red. They waved their fists in the air with a scowl on their face, which wasn’t as intimidating as they expected.
“Shut up!” They turned around and took down another pirate, grumbling to themselves and blushing. She giggled at their flustered form and smiled to herself. They really were too cute.
Usopp: This was not a way he wanted to see them again but he guessed it was good enough. Both of them were in their own battle underground when suddenly they had to run. He was sprinting alongside with them until he noticed that they were falling behind. Looking at them, he noticed their wound on their stomach and realized that they weren’t going to make it if he didn’t do something. He knew he wasn’t the strongest but he had to do something. He slowed down to get behind them and scooped them up into his arms. He stumbled a bit but kept running after regaining his balance.
“You idiot! What are you doing?! Put me down!” He glanced down at them and noticed the scowl on their face but also the dark blush on their cheeks.
“You’re the idiot! Why didn’t you tell your doctor that you were hurt?!”
“S-Shut up!” They stuttered. “And why do you care?!” Usopp blushed lightly. He couldn’t tell them that he fell for them! That’d be so embarrassing!
“I… I just do, alright?! So let me just help you, already!” Both of them were blushing but he could feel them lightly tighten their grip on his shirt.
Sanji: It was an accident. A complete accident that was probably the best thing that’s happened to him in his opinion. They weren’t looking where they were going and bumped into him in the middle of his search for Nami and Robin. He rubbed his head and groaned as he opened his eyes. He felt a blush make it’s way on his cheeks as he heard the soft groan and the absolutely beautiful person holding themselves up above him. They were the enemy but to him, they were his one and only. They opened their own eyes and blinked, seeing him. He smiled as he watched their face light up in a dark red blush. They scrambled off of him and pointed at him, flustered.
“B-B-Black leg?!” He tilted his head slightly and smiled, his eyes already filling up with hearts.
“Hi, (Y/N)-swan~” They blushed even darker and got up, even though they stumbled and only got even more embarrassed.
“Y-You stay away from m-me, you… you… you pervert!” They ran down the path, blushing and cursing to themselves. Even though it was their job to get rid of him, they were always unable to because of their embarrassment. Sanji watched them run and smiled to himself, swaying his head from side to side as he stood up.
“So cute~” He chanted to himself as he continued his search.
Tony Tony Chopper: They were grumbling annoyed at the fact that their captain forced them to team up with the straw hats, their enemies, to find some underground path towards some treasure. They were holding a lantern so it lit up the dark walls but they refused to look down at their legs because they knew they wouldn’t be able to look away. The path was quiet except for water dripping from the walls and the small whimpers from the reindeer. They groaned and glanced down.
“Will you calm down? No one’s down here.” Chopper sniffled and only clung on tighter to their leg, making them blush and gush silently in their head.
“I-I know but a-anything can happen.” They quickly looked away right as he hid his face in their leg, making it harder for them to walk but it was worth it if it made him feel better. Chopper peaked up at them and couldn’t help the silly smile that came onto his face. He liked being around them. He felt content and relaxed around them so any chance of being close to them was just a plus in his eyes.
Nico Robin: She thought they were adorable. The way they jumped back and blushed every time she appeared next to them without their notice. They were strong but she was confident that she could restrain them without hurting them if they tried anything. Seeing them in the distance was a perfect opportunity to surprise them once again. She noticed a book in their hands and blinked but walked up anyway. She smiled as she tapped their shoulder and watched them jump startled. Their eyes widened and a blush enveloped their face as they hugged the book in their arms.
“N-Nico!” They scowled, even though to Robin it made them look even cuter with the blush joining it. “What are you doing here?!”
“I am a pirate as well. We should really stop meeting like this.” They blushed darker as they realized that she always scared them whenever they met. They stuttered for a while before scrunching up their face in frustration.
“S-Shut u-up!” She blinked as they ran off while dropping the book in the process. She picked it up and brushed off the dust. As she read the title, she smiled as it was a book that she had briefly mentioned in one of their ‘conversations’. She giggled and opened the book to the first chapter.
“They just keep getting cuter and cuter.”
Franky: He was always confused on why he was so eager on seeing them again. Even though they were a marine, he couldn’t help the smile that made its way to his face at seeing them. He also thought that they would get flustered at seeing him in a speedo like everyone else does but he noticed that it must have been something more than that since they only got more embarrassed and angry the more he tried talking to them. He brought the Sunny ashore just like Nami had asked and waited while leaning against the railing. As he watched the fight unfolding between the marines and the pirates, he blinked and lifted his sunglasses to get a better view. He grinned at seeing the familiar figure.
“Oh! It’s (Y/N)-kun!” The marine in question stiffened and turned a dark red before turning around. They glared at him as he grinned at them. “It is you! Nice to see ya again!”
“D-Don’t talk as if w-we’re c-close friends or something!” He laughed at their flustered expression and smiled.
“You haven’t really changed much since the last time!” He watched as they turned a darker red and spun around to continue their attack. Franky smiled and dropped the sunglasses over his eyes.
Brook: He first stumbled upon them when he was just messing around with his violin while exploring the island they were at. He didn’t seem to have noticed them at first but when he did, he couldn’t help but feel happy at the fact that they were so entranced by his playing. He found it adorable when they realized that he caught them and their face turned a dark red. They, on the other hand, were pissed off at the fact that he could just take out his violin or guitar and they were basically wrapped around his bony finger. They were in the middle of just patrolling when they heard the familiar sound of a guitar playing. They stiffened and were about to run off, knowing that they wouldn’t be able to arrest the skeleton.
“Ah! It’s marine-san!” They froze and groaned, turning around and seeing the happy skeleton. “Are you ever going to tell me your name?”
“Eh?! Why should I?!” They yelled, their blush growing a bit darker. He laughed and lowered his guitar.
