omg yesss I Loved those sad ones!!! Can you write more! with Sanji, Ace, and Kidd?
(Sure! A lot of people liked these for some reason ?-? Ace’s is also a bit of a spoiler if you don’t know about what happened to Thatch)
Sanji: The argument was days ago yet the words still continued to haunt him. He was staring at the water flowing out of the sink as his hands mindlessly washed and dried the plates.
From the door, Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper were peaking in, watching the cook absentmindedly clean the plates. They closed the door slowly as to not disturb the cook but it wouldn’t have mattered since he wasn’t paying attention anyway. The three males talked in hush whispers to each other.
“I don’t get it. I thought Sanji and (Y/N) would have been back to normal by now.” Luffy muttered, a hand raised to cup his mouth.
“I don’t know. Come to think of it… I haven’t seen them approach each other in a couple of days.” Usopp responded while gripping his chin in a thinking position.
“Eh?! You think they’re not going to get back together?!” Chopper squealed, bringing his hoofs up to his face in a horrified expression. Usopp held up his hands at the little reindeer’s panic.
“Now, now! We shouldn’t assume-” His sentence was cut off with his own screech as the kitchen door swung open. The three couched males turned to look at Sanji who had put out his cigarette a while ago. The blonde turned his head to look at the three who flinched away at the unusually blank look in the cook’s visible eye.
“… Is (Y/N)-chan in their room?” The three males nodded mutely. The blonde nodded and made his way down under deck, leaving the three to exchange glances with one another. When he reached the front of your room, he knocked softly against the door but got no response… Again.. He leaned forward and rested his forehead against your door. “(Y/N)-chan… Please… Open the door…” He shut his eyes, the familiar sting behind his eyes. He laid his hands against the wooden door and clenched them into tight fists.
What he said was wrong. The words that slipped out left a disgusting taste in his mouth and no matter how many times he washed his mouth, it was still there.
“Maybe getting into a relationship with you was a bad idea.” He had mumbled in the heat of an argument. He stiffened the moment you raised your hand to your mouth in a poor attempt to stop the sobs that threatened to leave your lips. You rushed out before he could even apologize, his hand outstretched to where you went but it trembled as he heard the door slam in the distance.
He heard a soft ‘go away’ and he felt himself deflate. He pressed his back against the door to your bedroom and slid down it, hiding his face in his hands. His fingers curling into his hair. His teeth gritted together as tears pricked at his eyes. He knew how uneasy you were about getting into a relationship with him and his words just brought you false confirmation. He didn’t know why he said it but he would do anything to get you to love him again…
Portgas D. Ace: He was sitting by the shore with his head against his knees, not moving an inch since he chose to sit by the sea. He had to rush off after the argument... The argument that went over and over in his head since he left Whitebeard’s ship. He curled more into a ball as his fingernails slightly dug into the skin on his legs. He missed you... He missed you so damn much yet he was the one who had pushed you away.
“Please, Ace! Just listen to what Pops and the crew said! It’s not worth going after him!” You jumped as he slammed his hand against the desk where he was resting his backpack on. He had been packing his belongings for his journey to find Blackbeard and no matter how many times you told him not to go, he ignored you. He turned towards you and you swear there were actual flames in his eyes. Your precious Ace actually scared you with that intense look of his. You took a step back as he stepped forward to you.
“It’s my responsibility to take him down for what he did! So back off! You don’t even have a sense of what’s going, (Y/N)! Thatch is gone because of him and you’re trying to stop me?!” He yelled into your face, his fists clenched by his sides. Tears immediately pricked at your eyes as he had never been so harsh with you before. You pressed your hands against his chest and pushed him back so you could get some space to breathe. He caught his footing before he could fall.
“Thatch was my friend too, Ace! We all lost him! Not just you! Do whatever you want! Don’t expect me to beg you to stay any longer!” You all but yelled at him. He looked at you, the anger in his expression turning into shock as he saw the tears falling from your eyes. He didn’t do anything to stop you as you rushed out of his room, slamming the door on your way out. He took off the next day, pushing the thought to the back of his head that you really didn’t beg him to stay... or even said goodbye to him....
He pulled away from his knees to rub his eyes as the sting of his tears hurt his eyes. He had to try again. He couldn’t handle you being mad at him and his heart clenched at the fact that you must have been crying because of him. He looked through his pocket and pulled a Den Den Mushi out. It was (F/C), your favorite color, and just looking at it made him miss you even more. He picked up the receiver and the Den Den Mushi started ringing. He gripped the receiver in his hand, praying that you would pick up. After an agonizing couple of minutes, he heard the small ‘ca-chack’. He didn’t hear a respond but from how the snail’s expression changed into a blank face with its eyes red and black circles under them, he knew you were there.
“(Y/N)...” He whimpered out, staring at the snail as if it was you. When he got no respond from you again. He let out a choked sob as he clutched the receiver even tighter and his eyes shut in a poor attempt to keep the tears at bay. “I’ve so sorry...” He whispered, running his hand through his hair. “I shouldn’t have said that to you... We’re all hurting about Thatch and I... I took it out on you... I’m really sorry... I’m so sorry... I hope you know that I have to do this... As second commander.... I can’t have you mad at me... It’s killing me knowing that I’m the one that made you cry...” He let out a humorless chuckle as the tears slipped down his eyes. “I miss you so much... I finally met up with Luffy and told him about you... How you are my partner and how excited he is to meet you... My partner...” He bit his lip and let out another choked sob, his body trembling finally as he let the sobs take over him.
Your silence throughout his apology only made his guilt worse. He cracked open his eyes, tears falling endlessly as he saw that the Den Den Mushi hadn’t changed its expression since he started his apology but tears were falling from the snail’s eyes. He brought the receiver closer to his mouth, his voice cracking at his last sentence.
“(Y/N)... Please... Please forgive me... Please say that I’m still yours... Please say that you’re still mine... Please...” He muttered so quietly that he feared you didn’t hear him. “I’m so sorry.... I’m sorry...”
Eustass Kid: He’s a crude and violent man yet you saw passed all that and continued to be with him. He usually didn’t think before speaking to you and that led to a lot of hurt feelings. He disregarded them as you being sensitive but he never, ever meant to make you cry. He didn’t think it was a big deal either until you started avoiding him.
“Will you shut up?! Don’t tempt me into getting rid of you!” He had growled at you after you tried to catch his attention after a rather intense fight. You had flinched at his word and looked down, hiding your face from him. He didn’t think anything of it until he heard a sniffle and saw how your hand raised to your face. He sighed in annoyance, glaring at your slightly trembling form. “You’re crying now? How pathetic.” He muttered, looking away and heading back to the ship, not waiting to see if you were following behind him.
After that, he would be lucky to even get a glance of you around the ship. You were either locked in your room or out for food. The crew could see how irritated their captain was getting and steered clear of him when he stormed past. He finally had had enough and stormed to your room. He banged on the door, annoyed that he actually thought it was a good idea to give your room such strong locks.
“(Y/N)! Open the door and get the hell out here!” He yelled, his arm resting on the door. When he got no response, he gritted his teeth and banged the door again. “(Y/N)! I’m not playing around! Get the hell out here!” He growled, getting even more pissed. He was surprised when the door suddenly unlocked and swung open. You hadn’t looked more fragile to him than at that moment. Your hand gripping the oak door and your glaring eyes filled with tears.
“Why?! To make it easier on you to get rid of me?!” Shocked, he couldn’t do anything as the door slammed shut again and was locked. He clenched his hands into fists and growled.
“The hell are you talking about?! Get out here!” He heard a scoff from inside the room and that made him growl once again.
“For what?! I wouldn’t want you to see pathetic me crying! I wouldn’t want to burden you, Captain!” You yelled from inside your room, emphasizing bitterly on ‘captain’. It finally clicked in his head that his words from before actually hurt you more than he realized.
“(Y/N)-” He stopped himself as he heard a soft thud and a sob from inside your room. He stayed silent as he heard your sobs from inside the room. He rested his head against the door, his heart clenching at the fact that he was the cause of you sobbing in there. He was the one who didn’t choose his words and who got impatient with you. He couldn’t even enter your room to even try and comfort you. He let out a sigh through his nose and shut his eyes, thinking of something to say. “(Y/N).... Come on... Open the door... Let me try to fix this at least....” He heard a soft “go away” and it just made him even more frustrated.
Now that he knew that he messed up, he could only hope that you would forgive him and decide to stay with him.
