So y'all may have seen that @sailatina previously @sailor-crusader-deactivated2025 is down. I am from her discord and can confirm that this was a nuke. Not Only was this a nuke but.

Notice the line "This action was taken as a result of an INTERNALLY GENERATED report". This means she was not deleted as a result of some tumblr user reporting her but a member of @staff tumblr themselves. A racialized trans woman was directly terminated by tumblr.

And Isuggestforcefem was nuked a second time in just two months. I was 90% certain when sailor-crusader got banned, but I'm 100% certain now, another transfem ban wave is upon us. Specifically targeting large transfem posters on here to demotivate the smaller ones and their followers. Don't let it work.

Do you have any sailor moon related hot take or unpopular opinion?

Idk how hot of a take this is, but as much as I adore Usagi, I think the rest of the cast suffers from how much of the spotlight she takes up. This is something that's true across almost all Sailor Moon iterations.

For example, in the 90s anime none of the other Senshi are allowed to finish off enemies because Sailor Moon has to be the one who lands the finishing blow (this makes sense with monsters of the week who are actually human and need to be healed, but most seasons have monsters that just need to be destroyed). And as much as I really love the Stars arc of the manga, it really sidelines the other Senshi (like, they literally all die before the halfway point and are brought back by Galaxia just to torture Usagi) in favor of Usagi's character growth and finalizing her story.

From what I remember of PGSM (the live-action series), it does a great job of focusing on the other Senshi and expanding their manga roles while still having Usagi be the heart of the show.

Again, let me reiterate that I love Usagi. She's one of my all-time favorite characters. I just think that sometimes she overshadows the other girls.

If Sailor V got an anime adaptation would you want it to be faithful to the manga or take more liberties? And if so, what would you like to see

I would love for the hypothetical anime to expand on the story and lore! The thing I would like expanded on the most is the final chapter; we just see glimpses of Venus's past life in the manga, and I think it would be really cool if they used the opportunity to showcase more of the Silver Millennium.

Also, I'd love to see Ace's background get expanded on too; all we know is that he was a Venusian foot soldier during the Silver Millennium who fell in love with Sailor Venus. We really don't know a lot about the lives of average Silver Millennium citizens and the planets they lived on.
