I liked how in Loan-A-Lisa Nelson had a passion and a good outlet for his anger. I wish he would of kept his business. I think in a future episode they should give that back to him or at least something new. Maybe a baker. You really got to beat the crap out of the dough sometimes, especially for Springerles. (A German treat)
yeah! it was pretty satisfying to see him turn his life around and succeed even if it was short lived (as simpsons continuity demands it)
i could totally see him joining bart in his custom bike shop from Barthood, but id also like to see him try new things. im personally a big fan of him doing more stuff with his guitar as an outlet for his anger. honestly his fucked up rendition of joy to the world was pure punk and id love to see more of that (thank you sid vicious nelson) but that might just be me because this is the just kind of stuff i like HAHA im not really counting on the writers to bring that back anytime soon

Wow, your dolls are so beautiful! Do you have any tips for a beginner doll collector and restorer? Alls I can do for my dolls is repair their clothes and sew some new outfits for them. I would love to be able to do all the fantastic things you can do with your dolls! You collection is totally out of this world!!!
This hobby requires you to be very tangible and physical with the items you work with. No amount of reading up and learning the theory behind it can prepare you to actually physically changing your dolls.
I know it’s really scary cuz it feels permanent but the more you do the more comfortable it is to customise. It’s why I always recommend to anyone wanting to start is to get a bunch of used dolls cheaply either through thrift stores or eBay lots and getting used to changing them up.
If actually painting or modifying is too much, just start with learning how to restore dolls. Learn how to clean up dolls, fix up their hair and swapping out parts lets you feel less precious about dolls in general and it can help you get used to changing them even if it’s not a “big league” custom job.
It’s how I first started at age 11 with customising, I used to go get second hand dolls and learn to fix up manky hair and did basic customisations and body swaps. Eventually I moved onto bigger things but it’s always nice picking uyp a doll and cleaning it.
I have been hearing about Disenchantment like since it came out. I was thinking about checking it out, but then totally did after I saw your drawing of Bean! I love the show so much! Thanks for that amazing drawing!

i have wayyy too many favorite episodes to list here but i am working on a gdoc list with short summaries and pictures for all of them. i will definitely share when im done (it might take a while.)
however nelson episodes are a bit easier to list so i think i can do that much at least. hes in a LOT of episodes but these are the ones where he plays a major (or at least memorable, in my opinon) role. otherwise this list would get very long lmao. i also made sure to mark the ones that focus on nelson/lisa for your shipping needs. oh and please be aware that im probably missing a few episodes but i promise these are the big ones
