VIA No. 14 pauses at St. Lambert, barely into its 651 mile/1047 km journey to Moncton. At the time, the "Ocean" carried equipment for the "Chaleur" as far as Matapedia, Quebec where it would be set out for conveyance to Gaspe. Halifax service was provided by the "Atlantic", train No. 12 which would pass through St. Lambert 40 minutes later, operating over CN tracks to Sherbrooke, then CP tracks through the State of Maine, and returning to CN rails at St. John. Idk if I'm late for asks, but: opinion on Jean François de Saint-Lambert, if you have one? (Idk anything about the dude, but the fact that he is a common thing between V and JJ is kind of hilarious to me.)
