I'm still not talking today about my thing with saints, but today I used my few usable hours to start the transformation of a Saint statue, into a Goddess statue.
When we came live together, S was already devoted to Holda, or how we say "The Grandma". (we have the habit of using nicknames to the gods in the common moments). And in a very natural way, She became onde of the matron goddesses of this household.
Yesterday, I got a good place for a decent common altar, and S said how she wanted a image of Saint Lucy with the candle wreath to Grandma. Living in Brazil it is almost impossible to find.
Today I remembered, we had a bunch of ond Saint statues in the atelier, donated to us to be used in art works.
There she was, Santa Luzia. Saint Lucy.
I spend some time cleaning, remaking the details in broken places, turning the plate with her eyes on a candle holder.
Tomorrow, I will add the wreath, and turn the palm into flax stems.
After it, she will get a base coat of white paint, and S will repaint her.
