Construction of Glasgow Cathedral in Glasgow, Scotland, continued through the 12th and 13th centuries. The tomb of Saint Mungo in the crypt was a much visited pilgrimage site right up until the Scottish Reformation in 1560.

Consecrated in 1197, Glasgow Cathedral in Glasgow, Scotland, is dedicated to Saint Mungo, the 6th century missionary who founded the city. It's one of only two medieval Scottish cathedrals to survive the 16th century Reformation largely intact.
