Saitis barbipes is the closest you can get to seeing the famous Maratus dance as a european. these little jumpers constantly wave their third leg pair around when walking, even with no females anywhere nearby, which makes for a fancy show. unfortunately i only ever find these in the most poorly lit rooms of my house. one day i will behold that dance in the sun

i decided to make a jumping spider that is a mechanic but somehow her resume got rejected so she decided to steal a certain ant’s shiny stuff and breakable parts of the areas around her. Not a bad idea to have a mech as a boss, but since its a mech, it would take a while to destroy it due to have breakable parts.

She isn’t an important character but i decided to draw her anyway. Her name is Saitis.

She is Salti’s overprotective older sister
