I have a headcanon that Saiko snuggled to Urie's bed the night her mom died. Urie patted her back and she kept him wrapped in tight embrace the whole night to keep herself calm. At first Urie thought she was warm and comfortable but soon it started suffocating him and he couldn't sleep at all. Next day Hige noted that Urie is in bad mood, and Saiko casually told him it might be because she slept with him last night. Now Hige does not what to do with this piece of information 😂

THAT IS REALLY SWEET!! ;___; maybe it was like the first time she really came for comfort like that, she was overwhelmed and squeezed him and LOL i like the idea of urie just patting her a bit haha, unable to figure out what to do. (really tho maybe he could understand just a little, since his dad...😢)also LOL at saiko escalating to deathgrip sleep cuddles. maybe hige’s temptation is to try and share the burden of this knowledge with someone, anyone. but no matter who he tells they just sort of laugh and don’t believe him. 😂(.....maybe this would be heartbreaking for hsiao?! 😰 ....or maybe by then she is already spending a lot of time with the new Qs who likes her. 😌)

Urie is secretly a big fan of Saiko’s manga. He reads it when no one else is around and really enjoys watching her draw it and gives he drawing tips from one artist to an aspiring artist.

oh man!!! i’m not sure about headcanons once they leave the ccg…..i feel like that world is open game. there’s a lot of cute “taking care of each other while on the run” scenarios that could be cool, like urie maybe helping saiko to secure small pleasures like snacks, saiko helping urie not overwork and making him drawings to cheer him up……

i really like thinking of how they might have gotten closer together while mucchan was out with suzusquad…….maybe saiko trying to cook like maman and failing miserably, urie getting impatient & doing it himself and discovering that he ALSO can’t cook lmao. in the end they have to learn together and end up in a certain easy teamwork about it — “yonebayashi, quick!! the soy sauce!” “ROGER!!!” and for a second, between just the two of them, they capture that same comfortable energy that used to warm up the chateau.

i also like the idea of them bonding over video games, like saiko notes urie’s moroseness about shirazu and mutsuki’s absence and nagging him to play games with her until he acquiesces to get her to quiet down and it turns out he enjoys it a lot. maybe later when saiko is holed up mourning for maman, urie knocks on her door with a new game and they end up playing together in silence until saiko suddenly sniffles out a helpless laugh.

“you really suck.”

urie: “…….yeah.” ((smiling very slightly. 😭))

i also like to think that urie in the very beginning was contemptuous of saiko’s snacking but as time goes by it ends up that he notes whenever she’s out of chips and adds them to the grocery list along with everything else. (maybe he yells @ the new Qs not to forget ((and hsiao is like 🙄 duh))). maybe one time he leaves the store and realizes he forgot the snax so he sends the Qs to the chateau and goes back to the store to get them himself. he sometimes gets new promotional or seasonal flavors and when saiko is like “!!!!” and wants to share them with him he ends up agreeing. they start having a running list between them of Good Snax and Bad Snax.

maybe sometimes when the chateau felt particularly empty, saiko who used to be so ok with staying alone in her room all day would go up to where urie was painting and play games or draw. they don’t say anything to each other, just spend time together in quiet until it’s time to go downstairs and make dinner. 💖

hc where saiko’s hair started getting v unkempt after maman left;

she does her best to keep it in shape but honestly there was a lot of it. one evening, after a particularly frustrated bout of cursing that reached him even through his headphones, urie looks up. his footsteps creak as he makes his way to the bathroom. the door is ajar — he pushes it open — saiko is there, with hair in frayed out, in knots.

urie is silent. his surprise is implicit: What the…..HOW.

saiko mumbles back. “I don’t know…..” 

she sniffs, in a way that clearly isn’t just about the hair.

urie whisks the brush away from her, with a sigh. (there is no one else to do it.) they wrestle a little longer, with saiko’s whines becoming pouts and finally shrieks when the brush’s teeth break rather than yield. saiko lifts a piece of hair that used to be a ponytail and is now something kind of like a mace.

she mumbles something.

“what?”

“i said,” she repeats, “chop it.”

they search the drawers of the bathroom. there aren’t any scissors here, somehow. from downstairs, even the kitchen knife is mysteriously missing. (urie makes a note to tell sasaki to replace it. then he makes a note to remind himself to replace it.) finally, urie sits her down in the center of the empty living room, and flexes his arm.

this is a terrible misuse. but maybe good practice, for delicate work. his kagune snakes out, different than usual, a small thing, like a razor.

“Hold still,” he says. Or else, he could add, but there’s no use for it. saiko takes in a breath, and trusts him.

after the latest chapter i feel we're even closer to the urie and saiko on the run from the ccg scenario of my shipping dreams (if he survives his current predicament) :o

IF HE SURVIVES.......HIS CURRENT PREDICAMENT.....😱🙏 .......then i think we may be close too. 👀 (BUT AT WHAT COST)as a sidenote while we're here, @mistystarshine shared some HCs with me and an idea i REALLY liked was saiko starting to casually sleep with urie (iirc 😬). with what you said and the idea of their intimacy escalating after every tragedy, i kind of like the idea that it first happens like after shirazu bites it and mucchan leaves, they're alone in the house and saiko is lonely & she comes over to urie's bed (where he's passed out after painting until the morning hours; she waited until she finally heard him collapse).maybe at first he's just sprawled out over the covers & she curls up with her own pillow & blanket over on one side of the bed and when urie wakes up and is like .~__~ "......???????" saiko is like, "i was lonely 😫😫 it's fine right?! 😭😫 MAMAN LET ME DO IT YOU KNOW 😤😫" and urie can't frikken tell when anyone lies to him so he's just like "uh yeah ofc that's fine" bc he at least needs to try and fill the space sasaki left.maybe after that it still only happens intermittently, like only when saiko has nightmares OR when she wants to stay up with someone, like she just curls up on a blanket while urie sketches or something and plays until she passes out with her game on her face. (plus when hsiao comes, hsiao is totally happy to be a warm dakimakura.) but after she and hsiao save urie from the frame out thing, saiko stays at his bedside while he recovers and when he finally is sort of conscious again he looks at her weakly like .=__= ".....(hello)" and saiko makes like a furious animal noise and like tackles him, which kind of hurts actually but when he tries to shake her off he realizes she's crying, and he ends up being like .>___> and "(sorry)" and his awkwardly patting her back turns into saiko passing out on top of him still sort of clutching him and him also eventually passing out with an arm around her. 😭

saiko and urie casually sleeping together.. i love it omfg. maybe after the urie's arm around saiko incident the rest of the qs notice a change between them, urie's arm around saiko, saiko cuddling up to him at night, urie frustrated from his conversation with mutsuki at the wedding and drinking some of saiko's beers and drunkenly snuggling up to her until the two of them are kissing and urie wakes up the next morning with a killer headache 😂

omggg 😭 i remembered so belatedly that saiko was always being super snuggly with urie, like leaning on his lap before the auction arc....i really love the idea that he begins to reciprocate v e r y subtly, so subtly that even he doesn't quite notice it.DRINKING SAIKO'S BEERS......saiko might be the kind to be most likely to drink at the chateau, huh 😂 that makes me think maybe she and shirazu snuck off to do it together sometimes. this is unrelated to what you said but i like the idea that maybe urie guesses that saiko might try and drink away her troubles after the funeral and ends up joining her, she's surprised but shares easily not realizing he's never drunk at all and gets trashed INSTANTLY. 😂 (maybe...maybe they have drunk snuggles?! some caresses which urie can't remember?!? 👀💦)after the wedding......maybe saiko is shocked to see him going through her stash ON HIS OWN. (wtf!! didn't they already drink a bit at the wedding?!) she is already tipsy so she joins him thinking he's just in it for a good time and — this time the snuggles escalate to makeouts which saiko ends up being totally fine with. 😂and then the next morning......both of them trashed, annihilated, utterly destroyed. 😂 they stumble around trying and failing to make tea and urie is in a miserable mood so saiko suggests they just rest a little nor & when she cuddles up to him he doesn't protest. they snooze away the rest of the afternoon. ///////

OH MAN drunken urie and saiko making out then paying for it with the worst hangovers the next day, im dying over this. maybe after that saiko's a bit cautious over what is going on between them but in classic saiko style she just continues snuggling/draping herself over urie which CONFUSES THE HELL OUT OF HIM because he remembers snippets of the drunken makeouts and finds himself looking at saiko when he thinks shes not looking (she isn't, hsaio is)

THE! WORST! HANGOVERS! 😂

i love the idea that saiko is just as cuddly as usual and maybe whenever she gets close urie suddenly has a jolt of memory like — WAIT………THIS HAPPENED BEFORE……?????? maybe you can practically SEE the memories coming back to him. the rigidity of his body…how his eyes get wider and wider….lmao

(as for hsiao……….man she is hard to fit into these, i like her too much to break her heart 😂)
