We had a short visit to Sakaiminato before continuing on our trip to the Oki Islands. I got some great souvenirs: Medama Oyaji-shaped tea bags and Medama Oyaji Strawberry Cream Daifuku! Yum yum!

On this day today one year ago

I set foot in Sakaiminato, Tottori, Japan!

I know it’s not really a big deal but I visited the place of the very anime character that completely 180’d my life and really brought out the best in me, and visiting the heart of where the character is celebrated made some wonderful concrete memories.
