Gon shouldn’t have passed on the first Hunter Exam. If he did the second exam like Killua did… (i think) he would be less spoiled/annoying
well i can't really say since i just finished and i don't know the characters that well yet, but i also think it has a lot to do with killua?? since gon is really super important to him, his first friend, and he'll do everything to protect him even to unhealthy lengths. neither of them have had friends their own age before so they don't know where the limit should be set
so killua would do anything to not lose gon and that has made gon a bit spoiled too, i think
