(now you mail remember that I'm also writing a fanfiction that last year I promised around this time but I fucked up because of college and also productivity with the whole thing, I'm still going to post it at one point in the future... I'm just not going to solidify a date anymore because that's going to be hypocritical of me to do so)
(so anyway I decided in the meantime to get a little more inspiration and a little more in the mood for writing, I decided to make a miniature study room for my OC character Kiri. Some of you may know as admin kiri in the Ask The Mist side blog.)
(anyway I'm almost done making some of the props I'm just making furniture and getting ready to construct the entirety of the room at this point... Yeah think about it as being 10% done.)
(so I need a little bit of help, I'm going to post two pictures of my current "McGuffen" prop and I want to actually have a little bit of opinions on what should I do with it.)
(should I keep it open and put resin inside, or should I keep it closed for dramatic effect?)
(the idea of the being closed is that it's sealed away but there's something going on with the outside of the sake barrel, you know like growing barnacles it's wet in the outside for some reason and it's full of mystery with it, however I don't know how many people actually know what a sake barrel looks like without the cloth covering over it so I'm wondering if I should keep it open and have something kind of try to crawl out)
(keep in mind that in the story that I'm writing, the sake barrel first appear in an antique shop while in this miniature it's going to appear in my characters study room, I know it really doesn't make a massive difference but I'm kind of wondering what should I do)
