El Pedraforca
Saldes, Catalonia, Spain
Pedraforca is one of the most striking mountains of Catalonia (Spain). The two peaks Pollegó Superior (2497m) and El Calderer (2491m) overtop all other peaks in the neighborhood. The Name Pedraforca is from the two catalan words Pedra (Stone) and Forca (Fork). In english: Stonefork. Notice: I woul say thank you for all your kind comments in the past.

Serra d´Ensija (Catalonia)
We are moving on to the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park in the northern part of Catalonia. The area is dominated by the Pedraforca (2497 m), a mountain with a forked shape. Our first hike, however, starts at our camping site in Saldes and leads us to the Serra d´Ensija.
